ICYMI, NextGen Ventures delivered our Startup Sparks event in collaboration with Monash Association of Coding (MAC) and Monash DeepNeuron at Monash University. It was a fantastic opportunity for students to learn the fundamentals of being a founder and operator and to witness the growing trend of successful student-founded startups in Australia. We were thrilled to host both William Cerdelli and Arnav Bhalla, co-founders of Nexa Robotics AU, in a fireside chat. The founders met through Entrepreneurship Portfolio @ Monash University’s Fastrack program as two university students and were very recently accepted into the Melbourne Accelerator Program (MAP) They shared stories that gave students an inside look at their startup journey — discussing why it’s so important to have co-founders alongside you and how they balance their time between their startup and their studies.
