The myprosperity training team, Karen Kairouz, Erin Klein, and Jasbir Singh Gill, had such a great time running in-person training sessions with our partners at the HUB24 Limited Melbourne office and from the photo’s it looks like the attendees did too! We love running our fortnightly training webinars with all our fantastic partners. However, it was such a different experience running these free 3-hour in-person training sessions. It was great to delve deep into key features and tools of our client portal and partners asking great questions that help us with future training sessions. We look forward to taking this format on the road. See you in your city later in the year!

It's a big day today at Accounting Heart 💚💙 as we make the switch to a new client portal. The process of going to market to select a new tool that fits our tech stack, then working to embed it into business processes, train staff and take clients on that journey has involved a lot of time and some awesome teamwork 🙌 I enjoy this part of my work at the practice because I can bring my process documentation, project management, change management, communications and training skills from projects I've run like this in my corporate life to benefit a small business, in a profession which traditionally doesn't recruit for these kinds of capabilities. As I work through challenges like this in Accounting Heart, it feeds the work I'm doing in Accounting Innovators, to connect other practice owners and teams with the people and resources to make changes for positive impact in their businesses. For Accounting Heart, this one change in our tech stack creates impact through: ✅ more streamlined and organised communications with our clients ✅ improved efficiency and productivity, freeing up team to work on other tasks to add more value to clients and grow the business ✅ an app for clients to communicate with us, upload and sign documents (great for our busy on-the-go clients!) ✅ an opportunity to review existing business processes in line with team growth, changes in technology and future needs of the business ✅ developing skills of team members individually and through working together on a project that will impact all of us ✅ functionality to support new service offerings and opportunities for collaboration with other professionals in the finance ecosystem. When I joined Accounting Heart, I'll admit I was a little nervous about working remotely with an all female team. I've never really been a girly girl and my experiences of groups of females in workplaces has been less than awesome. But this team of women are quite honestly amazing to work with. Seeing how they have all stepped up and come together - despite being split across 3 different states - to get this project over the line is a testament to the amazing workplace culture that Sonia Gibson has created in Accounting Heart. Thanks to the team at myprosperity - Bridget Matheson, Aris Liacopoulos, Jamie Van Vuren and Karen Kairouz - for supporting us through this significant change and answering all my curly questions 😆 I'm sure that there will be things that need to be tweaked as we switch everything on and start working through the day-to-day embedding of this new system and processes, but I'm confident that we have done all we can to make this as seamless a transition as possible for all concerned and that we will work together to deal with any challenges that arise going forward.
