Post-walk, the enthusiasm was clear in this mentee’s feedback: 🌟 “I have already recommended it to a few friends and colleagues :) I think it is incredible to get access to top female leaders for an hour for a little money. Marina Bay came alive this morning - not with the city's usual bustle, but with the energy and enthusiasm of ambitious Singapore women taking a step towards their career goals! They showed up bright and early to seek guidance and support from experienced female leaders, who walked alongside them, ready to listen and share their own career journeys. This morning's fresh-air mentoring turned out to be more than just a walk—it was a space for meaningful conversations and tackling those "only she gets" moments. From topics like making your mark in a male-dominated tech world to overcoming that nagging imposter syndrome in a new job, even navigating the return to work after maternity leave – it was a safe space for honest career conversations. Glowing feedback from the mentees' experience this morning: ❇️ "The session was interactive and personal. The small group setting really helped mentees to have a personalised conversation and have a chance to gain very useful and insightful experiences from mentors." ❇️ "Great refreshing mentoring session with energy, new perspectives, and a healthy walk. It provides a more candid feel than a chat over coffee." We're keeping the momentum going with three more walks in Singapore this year. Next up: Tuesday, 20 August. Queens Domain provided the perfect backdrop for meaningful conversations and career insights at today's lunchtime walk. We're so grateful to the inspiring women who took a break from their day to invest in themselves and connect with our experienced mentors. 👏 Aspiring mentees came ready to connect with senior women who've been there and done that. Conversations touched on important topics: the imposter syndrome that lingers despite big wins, the career-family juggle, and the "should I stay or should I go?" moments. Our incredible mentors, all about lifting other women up, shared their wisdom and helped clear those mental hurdles that can get in the way. This testimonial from a mentee captures the power of taking time to prioritise yourself: ✨ "It's always such a valuable experience. I never regret taking time out of my day to participate. I love feeling supported and aligned with all the women I've interacted with during my experiences." Mentor Walks is committed to creating a safe space for women at all career stages to connect, share their experiences, and grow both personally and professionally.
