This company helped plant 20,000 trees in less than a year ๐ As a Berlin-based company ourselves, we were really proud when our local transit Berliner Verkehrsbetriebe (BVG) switched its default search engine to Ecosia in September 2023. In less than a year, they have already reached a major milestone: 1 million searches and more than 20,000 trees planted ๐ณ Kudos to all the BVG employees involved, especially from the IT department, who helped make the switch. Sabina Kusmin-Tyburski, CIO of BVG, told us: โIt was a seamless switch on our work devices that has led to the planting of an estimated 20,000 trees!โ Did you know?
