As part of the Federal Government’s broader multinational tax reforms, amendments have been made to the Corporations Act 2001 to require all Australian public companies that report under Chapter 2M to include a new consolidated entity disclosure statements (CEDS) in their annual financial reports. This applies to both listed and unlisted public companies. The changes are effective for annual reporting periods beginning on or after 1 July 2023 meaning impacted companies will need to apply the requirements as at 30 June 2024.
