📢 Payday Super Implementation Concerns 📢 It’s been 444 days since the announcement of Payday Super. Despite ongoing consultation, no concrete information is available about how DSPs can deliver Payday Super in payroll and superannuation software. With the proposed commencement date of 1 July 2026 fast approaching, the timeframe for designing and implementing Payday Super is currently unrealistic. Our proposals for moving forward with Payday Super: 📍 Maintain the 1 July 2026 date but reduce the scope of what can be reasonably delivered 📍 Push the commencement date to at least 1 July 2028 and consult with industry more effectively A roadmap, realistic timeline and transparent consultation with industry are essential for moving forward with Payday Super. 🌟 Member Spotlight 🌟 We are AccountKit - we've created an online toolkit for accountants to service both our own practice and the broader accounting community, primarily in AU. We have a set of tools that integrate with Xero, Xero Practice Manager and a bunch of other essential apps for a cloud accounting / bookkeeping practice. The aim is to automate, reduce clicks and create visibility across a variety of usually manual tasks. It's a modular kit, in that they can pick and choose which tools they'd like to use - such as Business Structure Diagrams, Inter-entity Loan reconciliation tool, Equipment Finance schedules, Correspondence Registers etc. We only have our team in Adelaide; We outsource our marketing to Little Village Creative in Melbourne.
