Carina is pleased to announce that the first LGR5+ patient has been enrolled into a Phase 1 clinical trial of its first-in-class LGR5-targeting CAR-T (CNA3103) in patients with metastatic colorectal (bowel) cancer. Carina will be holding its annual general meeting on Tuesday 14 November, providing an opportunity to review progress in 2023 which commenced with the Company’s successful IND filing and our path to the clinic for Carina’s LGR5-targeting CAR-T in patients with bowel cancer. We will also map out our anticipated 2024 clinical milestones.

Delivered through MTPConnect, the Australian Government's $45 million BioMedTech Horizons program (BMTH) supports innovative collaborative health technologies and drives discoveries towards proof-of-concept and commercialisation to address key health challenges and maximise entrepreneurship and innovation. Carina was a recipient of BMTH funding which was used to develop our two main platform technologies and produce much of the data for our successful IND application to the FDA.
