  • Last chance to register!! Join ADCG-NCG at their two Masterclasses on the Nuclear Ecosystem and Nuclear-Powered Submarines. These courses, meticulously crafted by our expert former nuclear-powered submarine officers with operational experience from the UK, US, and Australia, are designed to provide an introductory-level overview to educate personnel involved in or who may become involved in any aspect of AUKUS Pillar One. Course Overview: The first Masterclass is designed to empower you, using subject matter expert (SME) information, by enhancing your understanding of nuclear-powered submarines. It covers crucial specialist topics for those in, or aspiring to be in, the AUKUS Pillar One space. In just over two hours, you will learn from an ex-nuclear submariner about their operations, the differences between nuclear and conventional submarines, new nuclear terminology, and how to achieve a social license to operate them. Our second Masterclass complements and enhances the information from our first course. It gives those attending a deeper understanding of nuclear-powered submarines and their supporting eco-structure. It discusses what is needed to fully integrate this complex capability in Australia, detailing the support that the government, defence, industry, and academia must begin to deliver. Information is provided on the nuclear supply chain and how best you can strengthen your company’s standing to become a global nuclear supplier. The course includes information on the application of nuclear safety and security, detailing what is required to support nuclear-powered submarines. Ultimately, the masterclass provides attendees with fundamental SME knowledge so that, upon completion, they can make a real impact on returning to their workplace. *AIDN currently uses Humanitix for registrations.
