A few years ago I volunteered at various horse barns, equestrian centers and stables in / near Aiken, South Carolina.
At that time I was proficient and could - bridle, brush, curry comb, feed, halter, hay, lunge, muck stables, pick pastures and feet, saddle, wash, water, worm etc, etc, etc.
I was also familiar with boarding, carting, cross country, cowboy challenges, dental, dressage, donkey, english, farrier, horsecamping, hunter jumper, miniatures, mule, obstacle course, pacers, rodeo, trotters, vaulting, vet and western. (jack of all trade master of none)
I am a little rusty now but it will all come back quickly plus I am a fast learner.
I have operated ATV, golf cart, lawn mower and tractor with attachment such as bushhog, disc, drag harrow and plow. I have also helped with fencing and painting.
I will be happy to use my own truck for bales of hay and bags of feed and other small haulings etc.
I grew up with a shetland pony, a pinto and a donkey
I would classify myself as a beginner / green rider. Not interested so much in riding anymore but rather just being around horses. Prefer bomb prove horse. Safety is my highest priority.
I am a senior Army retiree / veteran
My heroes are Dale Evans, Gene Autry, Hopalong Cassidy, Roy Rogers.
