Heinzelsales and Paracel: Preparing for Future Eucalyptus Pulp Collaboration🌱 Last week, heinzelsales CEO Krunoslav Meic joined the Heinzel delegation visiting Paracel in Paraguay, along with Mr. Helmut Bernkopf from ÖKB. The delegation was warmly welcomed by Flavio Deganutti and his Paracel team. The visit began at the Paracel office in Asuncion, where we received the latest project updates and met with the motivated Paracel team. The energy and enthusiasm around the project were impressive. Kruno Meic, Mr. Alfred Heinzel, and Dr. Johannes Klezl also visited Santa Teresa farm, toured the forest plantation, reviewed the new workers' camp, and observed developments at the industrial mill site. We travelled from Asuncion to Conception for these visits. We were especially impressed by the Paracel team in both Conception and Asuncion. Their mix of young talent and experienced professionals provides the project with unique strengths. The visit was a success, and heinzelsales is excited about future cooperation with Paracel in promoting eucalyptus pulp globally. We look forward to the next stages and continued collaboration with Paracel.

HEINZEL GROUP announces closure of Raubling Papier GmbH High-Quality Machinery and Equipment Now Available for Sale Vienna, July 15th, 2024 - Heinzel Group has made the difficult decision to close its subsidiary, Raubling Papier GmbH, in Germany, due to persistently difficult market conditions and challenging economic circumstances. This decision follows comprehensive discussions with the local works council, resulting in a successfully concluded social plan. More than half of the affected employees have already secured new employment, reflecting the effectiveness of the company’s transition support efforts.   With the closure process now focused on the sale of assets, Heinzel Group is moving forward with the disposition of machinery and equipment. Andreas Sailer, CEO of Raubling Papier, stated:   "We are encouraged by the rapid transition of many of our employees to new positions and are now concentrating on the sale of Raubling Papier's assets. 🌞 Summer is in full swing, but heinzelsales remains very active! 🌞 Jürgen Nemeth and Krunoslav Meic from Heinzelsales visited the SCA Containerboard colleagues at their Obbola mill in Umea, Sweden. The highlight of the visit was seeing the impressive new PM 2 Kraftliner machine in action. During the visit, they had productive discussions with Mikael Frölander, Fredrik Lindvall, Hans Nordlander, and their teams. The beautiful Umea region provided a wonderful backdrop for this fruitful collaboration. The heinzelsales team expressed their gratitude for the warm hospitality and insightful mill tour. They were thoroughly impressed with the facility and appreciative of the cooperation with the Swedish colleagues.

🌍 Strengthening Partnerships in Serbia 🌍 Last week, the heinzelsales team, alongside our colleagues from Starkraft, had the pleasure of visiting two key customers in Serbia: Natura Trade in Loznica and Interton in Vršac. At Natura Trade, we were welcomed with great hospitality. Our productive discussions, showcasing of their impressive production facilities, and updates on the latest developments at Starkraft, including our new PM 6 machine in Steyrermühl, reinforced our strong partnership and aligned our goals for future growth. Earlier in the day, we met with Interton. Though the visit was shorter, it was equally insightful, highlighting the significant potential in Serbia. We are committed to nurturing and growing our relationship with Interton, and we look forward to future engagements. This trip underscores our Starkraft dedication to supporting our partners in the region.  A big thank you to Maximilian Ortner, Hubert Klöckl, and Günther Gut from Starkraft for their support and efforts during this visit. We are excited about the opportunities ahead and look forward to strengthening our partnerships further. 🤝

heinzelsales Kids Day 2024: Inspiring the Next Generation ✨ For the third year in a row, heinzelsales Kids Day has brought joy and learning to the children of our colleagues. This year, 33 kids visited our office, starting with independent tours to see where their family members work. They then took part in hands-on experiments from Austropapier's Papier Macht Schule program, learning about paper strength, creating art, and making colorful mandalas. The day concluded with a fun-filled outing to the Old Danube for lunch, pedal boating, and swimming. A big thank you to Melanie Luger for this initiative and everyone who helped make this event a success. We’re proud to inspire the next generation and can't wait for next year's Kids Day! 💓

Annual Leadership Workshop at Albrechtsfeld🚀 Last week, on June 10th and 11th, our Annual Leadership Workshop took place at Albrechtsfeld. I extend special thanks to the Heinzel family for hosting us in such a nice and motivating setting. Participants included the Leadership Team from heinzelsales; Dietmar Geigl, Melanie Luger, Niels Fokke, Mohamed Zarrouk, Jürgen Nemeth, Tomas Jonson , and myself , with Toni Greiner moderating our sessions. This annual meeting is crucial for aligning our main strategic targets and addressing key topics related to “Business Development” and “People Development.” This year, our focus was on defining our future supplier management framework. We had constructive discussions, gained new insights, and left with a clear plan to advance and grow our company. Over the coming months and into the next year, we will be dedicated to this topic, aiming to enhance our service and support for our valued suppliers. This initiative will involve raising awareness throughout our organization and ensuring effective internal communication. I want to thank all LST members for their motivated participation. We had two intensive working days, complemented by a pleasant dinner at the end of the first day. Special thanks to Toni Greiner for his expert moderation and support during the workshop.

Last week, I had a wonderful and productive trip to Canada, starting with Vancouver Pulp Week, followed by a visit to our HCA office, and concluding with a short but insightful visit to the Stadacona mill in the beautiful Quebec City 🇨🇦 Vancouver Pulp Week was filled with fruitful meetings, and the highlight was connecting with our dedicated HCA team. The warm, sunny weather in Quebec was a welcome contrast to the rainy days in Vancouver. A special thanks to Russ Lowder, Senior VP Sales, and his fantastic team at Stadacona for a great meeting and an interesting mill tour. Your hospitality and professionalism are truly appreciated🙌🏼 Our collaboration with White Birch has been consistently strong, weathering both good and challenging times. We are committed to further growth, and are successfully expanding our White Birch sales activities in Europe, which is our current growth focus area🚀 Thank you to everyone who made this trip memorable and productive.
