✨ Dankbarkeit und Anerkennung für die Auszeichnung „Glanzleistung: Ehrenamtliches Engagement im Bereich der Kinder- und Jugendarbeit“ ✨ Als Club Alpbach Südtirol Alto Adige möchten wir unsere tiefste Dankbarkeit und Freude über die Auszeichnung „Glanzleistung“ ausdrücken, die unsere Präsidentin Jessica Spiess Stärkle & unser Vorstandsmitglied Anina Vontavon gestern entgegennehmen durften. Diese Ehrung ist ein bedeutender Meilenstein und bestätigt unser Engagement und die Hingabe, die wir in unsere ehrenamtliche Arbeit im Bereich der Kinder- und Jugendarbeit investieren. Ein herzlicher Dank geht an den Gastherren und Tiroler Landeshauptmann Anton Mattle, Euregio-Präsident und Südtirols Landeshauptmann Arno Kompatscher und LR Simone Marchiori aus dem Trentino. Als Südtiroler Verein sind wir besonders stolz auf die Worte unseres Euregio-Präsident Arno Kompatscher, der von einem „ehrenamtlichen Nährboden für eine hoffnungsvolle Zukunft“ sprach und uns „im Namen der Gesellschaft im gesamten Euregio-Gebiet“ seinen Dank aussprach. Wir schätzen diese Worte sehr und fühlen uns durch seine Anerkennung und Unterstützung enorm gestärkt. Unser Dank gilt ebenso der gesamten Euregio für die kontinuierliche Unterstützung. Ohne diese Zusammenarbeit und das Vertrauen der Euregio Tirol-Südtirol-Trentino, um gemeinsam Grenzen zu überwinden und noch weitere Projekte auszuarbeiten. Ein besonderes Dankeschön richten wir auch an unsere Euregio-Family mit Club Alpbach Tirol und Club Alpbach Trentino. Unsere langjährige, grenzüberschreitende Zusammenarbeit ist der Grundstein für die Kraft des gemeinsamen Handelns. Der Euregio-Aperitivo in Alpbach ist ein Paradebeispiel dafür, wie wir junge Menschen zusammenbringen, um über aktuelle Themen zu diskutieren und langfristige Kontakte und Freundschaften zu knüpfen. Diese Initiative, die den Startschuss für das internationale European Forum Alpbach markiert, stärkt unser Netzwerk und fördert die regionale Zusammenarbeit. Wir freuen uns darauf, weiterhin gemeinsam mit euch allen an weiteren Projekten zu arbeiten, um den Gedanken des Euregio-Sprits und die Euregio-Family zu verbreiten. Diese Auszeichnung ist eine Anerkennung für uns alle und motiviert uns, unsere Arbeit mit noch mehr Leidenschaft und Einsatz fortzusetzen. Geh hin und mach den Unterschied! 🤝🏼🇪🇺🗳 Weil es nicht egal ist, wer in Brüssel sitzt… haben der Club Alpbach Tirol , Club Alpbach Upper Austria und Club Alpbach Salzburg im Vorfeld der EU-Wahl eine Plakat- und Social Media Kampagne ins Leben gerufen um Mythen und Stereotypen entgegen zu wirken. Der QR-Code führt zu einem kurzen Quiz, um das eigene Wissen zu testen. Außerdem findet man dort die Aufklärung zu den Statements und weitere Informationen. ❗️ The #momentoftruth has finally arrived: with the Netherlands having kicked off yesterday and Italy closing off on Sunday night, the #europeanparliamentaryelections2024 are officially on their way. And barely ever before in the EU’s history has there been more at stake than this time. ℹ️ Not only will we decide on which 720 #membersofparliament will represent our interests in Brussels & Strasbourg for the upcoming 5 years. The outcome of the elections will have a crucial #impact on: 1) who will preside over the European Commission (the European Parliament is institutionally entitled to vote for/against the person nominated by the European Council to become #commissionpresident), which will have a direct impact on, 2) the #strategicpoliticalpriorities and #concretepolicies agreed upon by the new Commission President and it’s #college (i.e. the formation of 27 political members of the European Commission - the Commission President, the High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs & Security Policy/Vice-President of the Commission [HR/VP] and the nationally assigned Commissioners) and last but not least, 3) the #qualityandconstructivenature of the subsequent #politicaldiscourse and #decisions in the #ordinarylegislativeprocedure (i.e. the process in which the member state ministers and members of European Parliament jointly function as legislative actors), based on the files proposed by the European Commission. This will thus eventually 4) inherently and profoundly impact the very #natureandcore of the European Union as such. Be it - the handling of certain #policyareas: e.g. climate change, digitalisation, trade, defense, etc. - the quality, longevity and strategic adequacy of its #politicaldecisions - its standing as a #globalplayer with a clear profile in a fragmented world - or the protection of its #corevalues (liberal democracy, rule of law, human rights, etc.) and overall #unity as 27 sovereign states (or more in future days). 📢 To mark the occasion of the historic significance of the upcoming EU Elections, Club Alpbach Upper Austria together with our friends from Club Alpbach Salzburg and Club Alpbach Tirol generously supported by the European Forum Alpbach and Ideas for Europe have organised a #postercampaign, to make our #contribution as a community to a #factbaseddiscourse on the EU and to maximise #voterturnout.
