Nothing is more frustrating than a complicated system that eats up time and resources. That's why our ON-TOWER system is designed to be a simple plug-and-play solution, easily installed by your own service team 🙂. Here’s how: ▶ Place it on the sunny side of the tower (southern side for the Northern Hemisphere, northern side for the Southern Hemisphere). ▶ Position it away from any external fans or equipment to ensure noise at the monitoring location is controlled by the turbine blades. ▶ Attach the units to the tower and gently wiggle to ensure good contact between the magnets and the tower. ▶ Ensure connectors are close to level with the ground and the cable from the Intelligent Listening Sensor (ILS) sits at a 90-degree angle. Install the Power- and Communcation Module (PCM) with the Interconnection Cable (IC) at the bottom to prevent water ingress. Simply simple, right? 😉

Dank der innovativen Technologie ist das Sensorsystem in der Lage, zuverlässig Vereisungen zu erkennen, die Oberflächentemperatur für präventives Heizen zu messen und selbst kleinste Rotorblattfehlstellungen unter allen Betriebsbedingungen der Anlagen festzustellen. Das On Tower-System misst und analysiert fortlaufend die Veränderungen der Geräusche, die durch Blattschäden entstehen. Es wird direkt am Turm der Windenergieanlage in ungefähr vier Metern Höhe mittels integrierter Magnete montiert. Durch ein Add-On kann es neben Blattschäden auch Blitzeinschläge durch Magnetfeldmessungen detektieren und Daten zum Setzen entsprechender Maßnahmen liefern. Beim In Blade-System wird ein akustischer Sensor an der Blattzugangsplattform oder im Inneren des Rotorblatts installiert. Dort angebracht kann dieser auf Basis akustischer Veränderungen den Zustand der Rotorblätter bzw. strukturelle Schäden anhand von Schallemissionen feststellen. Alle Sensorlösungen eignen sich sowohl für Neuinstallationen wie auch zur einfachen Nachrüstung bei bestehenden WEA.
