Investigation of decay and scattering processes of particles in a vortex state offers a novel and promising approach for probing particle structure. Our study reveals distinct properties of vortex neutron decay, which deviate from those of classical plane-wave neutron decay. We present the energy-angle distributions of the final-state electron and antineutrino in unpolarized vortex neutrons, as well as angle distributions integrated over their energies. Notably, we provide theoretical calculations of the decay behavior of neutrons with varying vortex cone angles and initial energies. We propose that identifying the vortex state of the initial neutron can be achieved by analyzing the angular and energy distributions of the final-state particles, introducing new degrees of freedom for studying weak interactions and neutron decay kinematics that have been previously overlooked in particle physics. This timely investigation takes advantage of recent advancements in vortex neutron preparation and analysis, opening up new avenues for exploring the fundamental properties of matter.

In this study we demonstrate the application of the Maximum Entropy Method (MEM) to determine the valence quark distribution of exotic hadrons. Our investigation yields three key findings. Firstly, we observe a significant shift towards smaller Bjorken scale $x$ in the peak position of the valence quark distribution for hadrons with an increasing number of valence quarks, consistent with previous results by Kawamura and Kumano. Secondly, assuming that the $Z_c(3900)$ initially consists of four valence quarks, we employ MEM to determine its initial valence quark distribution, estimating a radius of $r_c=1.276$ fm at an extremely low resolution scale $Q^2$. Furthermore, we identify a notable discrepancy between our computed charge form factor $G_c(q)$ at leading order and the outcomes of hadron molecular state calculations. We propose that this form factor can be extracted from the QCD counting rule cross-section, which is grounded in Generalized Distribution Amplitudes (GDA) linked to the multi-quark states.

Within the framework of the quark delocalization color screening model, a systematic investigation of the anticharmed-strange pentaquark system is performed using the resonance group method. The currently estimations predict three bound states with estimated masses to be 2886 MeV, 3039 MeV, and 3153 MeV, respectively. Additionally, three resonance states are identified in various scattering phase shifts processes. Among them, two resonance states $ΣD$ and $Σ^{\ast}D^{\ast}$ with quantum number $\frac{1}{2}(\frac{1}{2}^{-})$ are detected in channels $ND_{s}^{\ast}$ and $ND$, and $ΣD^{\ast}$ and $ΛD$, with masses and decay widths of ($M_{R}=3053\sim3055$ MeV, $T_{total}=13.0\sim13.4$ MeV) and ($M_{R}=3389\sim3390$ MeV, $T_{total}=10.4$ MeV), respectively. In the $ΛD^{\ast}$ and $ΣD^{\ast}$ channels, a resonance state with quantum number $\frac{1}{2}(\frac{3}{2}^{-})$ is discovered, with its mass and decay width being $3250\sim3252$ MeV and 4.4 MeV, respectively. These predicted pentaquark states have $\bar{c}snnn$ quark compositions, allowing them to be recognized as genuine pentaquark states. To validate these predictions, it is expected that upcoming experiments will further explore the predicted resonance and bound states in these possible decay channels.

We carry out a comprehensive investigation on the radiative decays of $P$-wave bottom baryons using the light-cone sum rule method. We analyze their electromagnetic transitions into ground-state bottom baryons together with a photon. Together with their mass spectra and strong decays investigated in Refs. \cite{Yang:2020zrh,Tan:2023opd}, a rather complete QCD sum rule study has been done to understand the $P$-wave singly bottom baryons within the framework of heavy quark effective theory. As summarized in Tables~\ref{tab:candidate}/\ref{tab:candidate6f}, some $P$-wave bottom baryons have limited strong decay widths so that their radiative decay widths become non-negligible. We propose to study these excited bottom baryons and their radiative decays in the future Belle-II, BESIII, and LHCb experiments.

In this paper, we examine the thermodynamics of heavy quarkonium in the spinning black hole background. Specifically, we investigate the effect of angular momentum on the interquark distance, free energy, binding energy, entropy, entropic force, and internal energy of heavy quarkonium from the thermodynamic relationship. Our findings indicate that the angular momentum reduces the maximum value of interquark distance, suggesting that it promotes the dissociation of quarkonium. Additionally, we observe that the angular momentum suppresses free energy. From the results of binding energy, the angular momentum favors the melting of meson into a free quark and antiquark. Moreover, the results show that angular momentum increases the entropy and entropic force, thus accelerates the dissociation of quarkonium. The angular momentum increases the internal energy at large interquark distance. Finally, we find that the angular momentum has a more pronounced effect on quarkonium when the axis of quark pair $Q\overline{Q}$ is transverse to the direction of angular momentum.

Utilizing an emergent metric developed from deep learning techniques, we determine the complex potential associated with static quarkonium. This study explores the disintegration process of quarkonium by analyzing the real component of this potential, which is crucial for understanding its stability in various conditions. We show that the dissociation length, the critical distance at which a quark and antiquark pair disintegrate, decreases as the temperature increases. Furthermore, our assessment of the imaginary component of the potential indicates an increase in the magnitude of the imaginary potential for quarkonium as temperatures rise. This enhancement contributes to the quarkonium's suppression within the quark-gluon plasma, mirroring the anticipated outcomes from QCD. Our findings not only confirm the theoretical predictions but also demonstrate the efficacy of deep learning methods in advancing our understanding of high-energy particle physics.

Within the framework of the Einstein-Maxwell-Dilaton (EMD) model, which incorporates information on the equation of state and baryon number susceptibility from lattice results, we have conducted a comprehensive analysis of the potential energy, running coupling, and dissociation time for heavy quark-antiquark pairs using gauge/gravity duality. This study encompasses various systems, including pure gluon systems, 2 flavor systems, 2+1 flavor systems, and 2+1+1 flavor systems under finite temperature and chemical potential. The results reveal that the linear component of the potential energy diminishes as the flavor increases. It is also found that our results are extremely close to the recent lattice results for 2+1 flavors at finite temperature. Moreover, we have thoroughly investigated the dissociation distance and running coupling constant of quark-antiquark pairs to gain a comprehensive understanding of their behavior across various flavors. Finally, we have examined real-time dynamics of quark dissociation. The findings indicate that the dissociation time of quark-antiquark pairs is dependent on temperature, chemical potential, and flavor of the systems.

The unquenched quark model for the light quarkonium and the charmonium states is explored in the present work. The quark-pair creation operator in the $^3P_0$ model, which mix the two-quark and four-quark components is modified by considering the effects of the created quark pair's energy, as well as the separation between the created quark pair and the valence quark pair. All the wave functions needed including the mesons and the relative motion between two mesons are all obtained by solving the corresponding Schrödinger equation with the help of the Gaussian expansion method. Our aim of the present work is to find a new set of parameters which can give a good description of the mass spectrum of the low-lying light quarkonium and charmonium states. Moreover, some exotic states, for example $X(3872)$ can be described well in the unquenched quark model.

We derive the discontinuities of banana integrals using the dispersion relation iteratively. We find a series of identities between the parameterized discontinuities of banana integrals (p-DOBIs). Similar to elliptic integrals, these identities enable the reduction of various p-DOBIs to be a linear combination of some fundamental ones. We present a practical application of p-DOBIs for the massive three-loop case and establish the expression of generalized dispersion relation, which enables us to obtain the dispersion relation representation of arbitrary banana integrals. Moreover, we propose a hypothesis for generalized dispersion relation and p-DOBIs, which provides a simple way to calculate the discontinuities and transform dispersion relation representation to p-DOBIs.

The relationship between QCD and the string model offers a valuable perspective for exploring the interaction potential between quarks. In this study, we investigate the restoration of chiral symmetry in connection with the Unruh effect experienced by accelerating observers. Utilizing the Schwinger model, we analyze the critical point at which the string or chromoelectric flux tube between quark-antiquarks breaks with increasing separation between quarks. In this study, the critical distance for quark-antiquark chromoelectric flux tube or string breaking is determined to be $r_c=1.294\pm0.040$ fm. The acceleration and Unruh temperature corresponding to this critical point signify the transition of the system's chiral symmetry from a broken to a restored state. Our estimates for the critical acceleration ($a_c=1.14\times 10^{34}$ cm/s$^{2}$) and Unruh temperature ($T_c=0.038$ GeV) align with previous studies. This analysis illuminates the interplay between chiral symmetry restoration, the Unruh effect, and the breaking of the string or chromoelectric flux tube within the context of quark interactions.

The invisible decay includes two decay modes: $ n \rightarrow { inv} $ and $ nn \rightarrow { inv} $. The invisible decays of $s$-shell neutrons in $^{12}{\rm C}$ will leave a highly excited residual nucleus. Subsequently, some de-excitation modes of the excited residual nuclei can produce a time- and space-correlated triple coincidence signal in the JUNO detector. Based on a full Monte Carlo simulation informed with the latest available data, we estimate all backgrounds, including inverse beta decay events of the reactor antineutrino $\barν_e$, natural radioactivity, cosmogenic isotopes and neutral current interactions of atmospheric neutrinos. Pulse shape discrimination and multivariate analysis techniques are employed to further suppress backgrounds. With two years of exposure, JUNO is expected to give an order of magnitude improvement compared to the current best limits. After 10 years of data taking, the JUNO expected sensitivities at a 90% confidence level are $τ/B( n \rightarrow { inv} ) > 5.0 \times 10^{31} \, {\rm yr}$ and $τ/B( nn \rightarrow { inv} ) > 1.4 \times 10^{32} \, {\rm yr}$.

We construct explicit models of classical primordial standard clocks in an alternative to inflation, namely the slowly contracting ekpyrotic scenario. We study the phenomenology of massive spectator fields added to a state-of-the-art ekpyrotic model, with coupling functions that allow for these heavy fields to be classically excited while the background is slowly contracting. We perform numerical computations of the corrections to the scalar primordial power spectrum and compare with analytical estimates. Our full numerical results reveal so-called clock signals, sharp feature signals, as well as signals that link the two together. The models are found to predict oscillatory features that are resolutely different from what is calculated in inflation, and thus, such features represent unique fingerprints of a slowly contracting universe. This confirms the capability of primordial standard clocks to model-independently discriminate among very early universe scenarios.

We investigate the effects of rotation on deconfinement and chiral phase transitions in the framework of dynamical holographic QCD model. Instead of transforming to the rotating system by Lorentz boost, we construct an anisotropic gravitational background by incorporating the rotating boundary current. We firstly investigate the pure gluon system under rotation to extract deconfinement phase transition from the Polyakov loop then add 2-flavor probe for chiral restoration phase transition from the chiral condensate. It is observed that at low chemical potentials, the deconfinement phase transition of pure gluon system is of first order and the chiral phase transition of 2-flavor system is of crossover. Both the critical temperatures of deconfinement and chiral phase transitions decrease/increase with imaginary/real angular velocity ($Ω_I/Ω$) as $T/T_c\sim 1- C_2 Ω_I^2$ and $T/T_c\sim 1+ C_2 Ω^2$, which is consistent with lattice QCD results. In the temperature-chemical potential $T-μ$ phase diagram, the critical end point (CEP) moves towards regions of higher temperature and chemical potential with real angular velocity.

QCD phase diagram in the $T - μ$ plane and the equation of state for pure gluon, 2-flavor, 2+1-flavor systems, and 2+1+1-flavor systems have been investigated using the Einstein-Maxwell-Dilaton (EMD) framework at finite temperature and chemical potential. By inputting lattice QCD data for the equation of state and baryon susceptibility at zero chemical potential into holographic model, all the parameters can be determined with the aid of machine learning algorithms. Our findings indicate that the deconfinement phase transition is of first order for the pure gluon system with critical temperature $T_c = 0.265 \rm GeV$ at vanishing chemical potential. The phase transition for the 2-flavor, 2+1-flavor systems, and 2+1+1-flavor systems are crossover at vanishing chemical potential and first-order at high chemical potential, and the critical endpoint(CEP) in the $T - μ$ plane locates at ($μ_B^c$=0.46 GeV, $T^c$=0.147 GeV), ($μ_B^c$ = 0.74 GeV, $T^c$ = 0.094 GeV), and ($μ_B^c$= 0.87 GeV,$T^c$ = 0.108 GeV), respectively. Additionally, the thermodynamic quantities of the system for different flavors at finite chemical potential are presented in this paper. It is observed that the difference between the 2+1 flavor and 2+1+1 flavor systems is invisible at vanishing chemical potential and low temperature. The location of CEP for 2+1+1 flavor system deviates explicitly from that of the 2+1 flavor system with the increase of chemical potential. Both 2+1 flavor and 2+1+1 flavor systems differ significantly from the 2-flavor system.

We study the QCD topology and axion properties at finite temperature and chemical potential in the framework of the two-flavor Nambu$-$Jona-Lasinio model. We find that the behaviors of the two lowest cumulants of the QCD topological charge distribution and axion properties are highly sensitive to the critical behavior of the chiral phase transition. In particular, the topological susceptibility and the axion mass follow the response of the chiral condensate to temperature and chemical potential, showing that both quantities decrease monotonically with the increment of temperature and/or chemical potential. However, it is important to note that the normalized fourth cumulant behaves differently depending on the temperature. At low temperatures, it is a non-monotonic function of the chemical potential, while at high temperatures, it monotonically decreases. Additionally, its value invariably approaches the asymptotic value of $b_2^{\text {inst }}=-1/12$, predicted by the dilute instanton gas model. We also observe that with the increase in chemical potential at relatively low temperatures, the axion self-coupling constant exhibits a sharp peak around the critical point, which can even be more than twice its vacuum value. After that, the self-coupling drops sharply to a much lower value than its vacuum value, eventually approaching zero in the high chemical potential limit. The finding that the axion self-coupling constant is significantly enhanced in high-density environments near the chiral phase transition could lead to the creation or enhancement of an axion Bose-Einstein condensate in compact astrophysical objects.

Inspired by that Belle\uppercase\expandafter{\romannumeral2} Collaboration recently reported $T_{cc}$, which can be interpreted as a molecular $DD^{*}$, we investigated the trihadron system of $T_{cc}$ partner with $IJ^{P}$=$01^{-}$ in the framework of a chiral quark model. It's widely accepted that the main component of $X(3872)$ contains the molecular $\bar{D}D^{*}$, while the main component of $D_{s0}^{*}(2317)$ is molecular $DK$. Based on these three well-known exotic states, $T_{cc} (DD^{*})$, $X(3872) (\bar{D}D^{*})$ and $D_{s0}^{*}(2317) (DK)$, we dynamically investigate $D^{*}DK$ and $DD^{*}\bar{D}$ systems at quark level to search for possible bound states. The results show that both of them are bound states, in which the binding energy of the molecular state $DD^*K$ is relatively small, only 0.8 MeV, while the binding energy of $DD^*\bar{D}$ is up to 1.9 MeV. According to the calculation results of the Root-square-mean distances, the spatial structure of the two systems shows obvious ($DD^*$)-($\bar{D}$/$K$) structure, in which $D$ is close to $D^*$ while $DD^*$ as a whole is relatively distant from the third hadron ($\bar{D}$/$K$), which are similar to the nucleon-electron structure. As a result, we strongly recommend that these bound states $DD^*\bar{D}$ and $DD^*K$ are searched for experimentally.

We revisit the masses of heavy quarkonium double-gluon hybrid mesons with exotic quantum numbers $J^{PC}=1^{-+}$ and $2^{+-}$ in the framework of the QCD sum rules. Considering the double-gluon hybrid meson operators in the octet-octet color structure, we have constructed two independent interpolating currents with $J^{PC}=1^{-+}$ and five independent currents with $J^{PC}=2^{+-}$. For the interpolating currents with antisymmetric glueball operator, there exist non-local divergences in one kind of additional Feynman diagrams of the tri-gluon condensate, which will give important contributions to the sum rule stabilities and mass predictions. We use the diagrammatic renormalization to cancel out such divergences. At the leading order of $α_s$, the two-point correlation functions and spectral densities can be expressed in the analytic form of the generalized hypergeometric functions and Meijer's G-functions. After performing the numerical analysis, we predict the masses of the $1^{-+}$ and $2^{+-}$ charmonium double-gluon hybrid mesons to be around $6.1-7.2$ GeV and $6.3-6.4$ GeV, respectively. For the bottomonium systems, their masses are predicted to be $13.7-14.3$ GeV and $12.6-13.3$ GeV for the $1^{-+}$ and $2^{+-}$ channels, respectively. Besides, it is possible to hunt for these charmonium hybrids in the radiative decays of bottomonium mesons in BelleII experiment. Further investigations on these hybrid states in various theoretical and phenomenological methods are also anticipated in the future.

This paper presents the first results of the study of high-energy electron and muon neutrino charged-current interactions in the FASER$ν$ emulsion/tungsten detector of the FASER experiment at the LHC. A subset of the FASER$ν$ volume, which corresponds to a target mass of 128.6~kg, was exposed to neutrinos from the LHC $pp$ collisions with a centre-of-mass energy of 13.6~TeV and an integrated luminosity of 9.5 fb$^{-1}$. Applying stringent selections requiring electrons with reconstructed energy above 200~GeV, four electron neutrino interaction candidate events are observed with an expected background of $0.025^{+0.015}_{-0.010}$, leading to a statistical significance of 5.2$σ$. This is the first direct observation of electron neutrino interactions at a particle collider. Eight muon neutrino interaction candidate events are also detected, with an expected background of $0.22^{+0.09}_{-0.07}$, leading to a statistical significance of 5.7$σ$. The signal events include neutrinos with energies in the TeV range, the highest-energy electron and muon neutrinos ever detected from an artificial source. The energy-independent part of the interaction cross section per nucleon is measured over an energy range of 560--1740 GeV (520--1760 GeV) for $ν_e$ ($ν_μ$) to be $(1.2_{-0.7}^{+0.8}) \times 10^{-38}~\mathrm{cm}^{2}\,\mathrm{GeV}^{-1}$ ($(0.5\pm0.2) \times 10^{-38}~\mathrm{cm}^{2}\,\mathrm{GeV}^{-1}$), consistent with Standard Model predictions. These are the first measurements of neutrino interaction cross sections in those energy ranges.

We report a first study of the semileptonic decay $D^0\rightarrow K^-π^0μ^{+}ν_μ$ by analyzing an $e^+e^-$ annihilation data sample of $7.9~\mathrm{fb}^{-1}$ collected at the center-of-mass energy of 3.773 GeV with the BESIII detector. The absolute branching fraction of $D^0\to K^-π^0μ^{+}ν_μ$ is measured for the first time to be $(0.729 \pm 0.014_{\rm stat} \pm 0.011_{\rm syst})\%$. Based on an amplitude analysis, the $S\text{-}{\rm wave}$ contribution is determined to be $(5.76 \pm 0.35_{\rm stat} \pm 0.29_{\rm syst})\%$ of the total decay rate in addition to the dominated $K^{*}(892)^-$ component. The branching fraction of $D^0\to K^{*}(892)^-μ^+ν_μ$ is given to be $(2.062 \pm 0.039_{\rm stat} \pm 0.032_{\rm syst})\%$, which improves the precision of the world average by a factor of 5. Combining with the world average of ${\mathcal B}(D^0\to K^{*}(892)^-e^+ν_e)$, the ratio of the branching fractions obtained is $\frac{{\mathcal B}(D^0\to K^{*}(892)^-μ^+ν_μ)}{{\mathcal B}(D^0\to K^{*}(892)^-e^+ν_e)} = 0.96\pm0.08$, in agreement with lepton flavor universality. Furthermore, assuming single-pole dominance parameterization, the most precise hadronic form factor ratios for $D^0\to K^{*}(892)^{-} μ^+ν_μ$ are extracted to be $r_{V}=V(0)/A_1(0)=1.37 \pm 0.09_{\rm stat} \pm 0.03_{\rm syst}$ and $r_{2}=A_2(0)/A_1(0)=0.76 \pm 0.06_{\rm stat} \pm 0.02_{\rm syst}$.

In this work, we use the AdS/CFT correspondence to study the behavior of a triply heavy baryon within anisotropic backgrounds. Beginning with the total action of the three quarks, we derive the balance equation for the three-quark system and compute the separation distance and potential energy. Our results reveal a consistent decrease in both the separation distance and potential energy for the A configuration and the B configuration as the anisotropy coefficient $a$ increases. This suggests that the presence of an anisotropic background promotes the dissolution of the three-quark system. Additionally, we compare the potential energies of the A and B configurations and observe that the A configuration has a slightly smaller potential energy, suggesting greater stability compared to the B configuration.

We estimate the total cross-section for producing dark photons in ultra-peripheral $PbPb$ collisions at existing and planned future hadron colliders, as well as the number of signal events. Our results support the search for dark photon signals in ultra-peripheral $PbPb$ collisions. We consider the recent signals of $η$ decays produced in LHC $pp$ collisions and estimate the number of dark photon events from the same number of $η$ decays from CMS. Based on CMS results, we estimate that there will be at least 1000 signal events of dark photons observed for the mass $m_{A^\prime}$ less than 500 MeV. In this study, we propose a method using $η$ meson decay to search for signs of dark photons at heavy-ion colliders, such as LHC and RHIC.

Among the various candidates for dark matter (DM), ultralight vector DM can be probed by laser interferometric gravitational wave detectors through the measurement of oscillating length changes in the arm cavities. In this context, KAGRA has a unique feature due to differing compositions of its mirrors, enhancing the signal of vector DM in the length change in the auxiliary channels. Here we present the result of a search for $U(1)_{B-L}$ gauge boson DM using the KAGRA data from auxiliary length channels during the first joint observation run together with GEO600. By applying our search pipeline, which takes into account the stochastic nature of ultralight DM, upper bounds on the coupling strength between the $U(1)_{B-L}$ gauge boson and ordinary matter are obtained for a range of DM masses. While our constraints are less stringent than those derived from previous experiments, this study demonstrates the applicability of our method to the lower-mass vector DM search, which is made difficult in this measurement by the short observation time compared to the auto-correlation time scale of DM.

Since the quark model was put forward, theoretical researchers have always attached great importance to the study of hidden color channels (including color octets and diquark structure). Because of the influence of color Van der waals forces, the hidden color channel itself has strong attraction, which provides a dynamic mechanism for the formation of resonance state or bound state. In this paper, taking the $T_{cc}$ system as an example, under the framework of multi-Gaussian expansion method, a set of relatively complete color singlets (that is, the ground state of the color singlet plus its corresponding higher-order component) is used to replace the contribution of the color octet. Similarly, we endeavor to replace the diquark structure with a relatively complete set of molecular states, encompassing both the ground state and excited states. Our results demonstrate that the color octet structure can be effectively replaced by a set of relatively complete color singlet bases, while the diquark structure cannot be entirely substituted by an equivalently comprehensive set of molecular state bases.

We propose a major upgrade to the existing PandaX-4T experiment in the China Jinping Underground Laboratory. The new experiment, PandaX-xT, will be a multi-ten-tonne liquid xenon, ultra-low background, and general-purpose observatory. The full-scaled PandaX-xT contains a 43-tonne liquid xenon active target. Such an experiment will significantly advance our fundamental understanding of particle physics and astrophysics. The sensitivity of dark matter direct detection will be improved by nearly two orders of magnitude compared to the current best limits, approaching the so-called "neutrino floor" for a dark matter mass above 10 GeV/$c^2$, providing a decisive test to the Weakly Interacting Massive Particle paradigm. By searching for the neutrinoless double beta decay of $^{136}$Xe isotope in the detector, the effective Majorana neutrino mass can be measured to a [10 -- 41] meV/$c^2$ sensitivity, providing a key test to the Dirac/Majorana nature of neutrino s. Astrophysical neutrinos and other ultra-rare interactions can also be measured and searched for with an unprecedented background level, opening up new windows of discovery. Depending on the findings, PandaX-xT will seek the next stage upgrade utilizing isotopic separation on natural xenon.

We have studied the mass spectra of the P-wave fully charm and fully bottom tetraquark states in the framework of QCD sum rules. We construct the interpolating currents by inserting the covariant derivative operator $\overset{ \leftrightarrow } { \mathcal D }_{ μ}$ between the S-wave diquark and antidiquark fields. The excitation structures show that the pure $λ$-mode excited P-wave fully heavy tetraquarks exist for the quantum numbers $J^{PC}=1^{--}, 1^{-+}, 2^{--}, 2^{-+}$ and $3^{--}$, while it is difficult to separate the $λ$-mode and $ρ$-mode excitations in the $0^{-+}$ channel. Within three Lorentz indices, there is no pure $λ$-mode excited P-wave fully charm/bottom tetraquark operators with $J^{PC}=0^{--}$ and $3^{-+}$. Our results support that the recent observed $X(6900)$ and $X(7200)$ resonances could be interpreted as the P-wave fully charm $cc \bar c \bar c$ tetraquark states with $J^{PC}=1^{-+}$ and $2^{-+}$, respectively. Some P-wave fully bottom $bb\bar b\bar b$ tetraquark states are predicted to be lower than the di-$η_b(1S)$ and di-$Υ(1S)$ mass thresholds. Hopefully our calculations will be useful for identifying the nature of new exotic tetraquark states.

Quantum fluctuations plays an essential role in forming the collective flow of hadrons observed in relativistic heavy-ion collisions. Event-by-event fluctuations of the collective flow can arise from various sources, such as the fluctuations in the initial geometry, hydrodynamic expansion, hadronization, and hadronic evolution of the nuclear matter, while the exact contribution from each source is still an open question. Using a (3+1)-dimensional relativistic hydrodynamic model coupled to a Monte-Carlo Glauber initial condition, Cooper-Frye particlization and a hadronic transport model, we explore the system size and shape dependences of the collective flow fluctuations in Au+Au, Cu+Au, and O+O collisions at $\sqrt{s_\mathrm{NN}}=200$~GeV. The particle yields, mean transverse momenta, 2-particle and 4-particle cumulant elliptic flows ($v_2\{2\}$ and $v_2\{4\}$) from our calculation agree with the currently existing data from RHIC. Different centrality dependences of the flow fluctuations, quantified by the $v_2\{4\}/v_2\{2\}$ ratio, are found for different collision systems due to their different sizes and shapes. By comparing $v_2\{4\}/v_2\{2\}$ between different hadron species, and comparing $v_2\{4\}/v_2\{2\}$ to the initial state geometric fluctuations quantified by the cumulant eccentricity ratio $\varepsilon_2\{4\}/\varepsilon_2\{2\}$, we find that while the initial state fluctuations are the main source of the $v_2$ fluctuations in large collision systems, other sources like nonlinear hydrodynamic response, hadronization, and hadronic afterburner can significantly affect the $v_2$ fluctuations in small systems.

Within the confining color flux tube picture, we assess the color electric field generated by quark-antiquark pairs within the framework of the Schwinger model and estimate its impact on the chiral condensate. We observe differences in the distribution of the color flux tube generated by quark-antiquark pairs at different separation distances, leading to discrepancies in the partial restoration of chiral symmetry. Furthermore, we suggest incorporating the color magnetic field in the calculation of chiral condensate, leading to quantum entanglement effects, and proceed to compute the entanglement entropy. We observe that the entanglement entropy increases with the distance of the color source (the separation distance between quark and anti-quark), and the magnitude of the color electric field and chiral condensate restoration after spatial integration also increases with the distance of the color source. Then, we try to provide a qualitative explanation for the existence of these phenomena.

The GLR-MQ equation is a nonlinear evolution equation that takes into account the shadowing effect, which tames the growth of the gluon at small-$x$. In this study, we analytically solve for the first time the nonlinear GLR-MQ equation using the homogeneous balance method. The definite solution of the GLR-MQ equation is obtained by fitting the MSTW2008LO gluon distribution data. We find that the geometric scaling is an intrinsic property of our analytical solution and the gluon distribution functions from our solution are able to reproduce the MSTW2008LO data. These results indicate that our analytical solution from the homogeneous balance method is valid to describe the gluon behavior at small-$x$. Moreover, the saturation scale $Q_s$ has been extracted from our analytical solution, we find that the energy-dependent saturation scale obeys the exponential law $Q_s^2\,\propto\,Q_0^2 e^{λY}$.

An approximated solution for gluon distribution from DGLAP evolution equations with NLO splitting function in the small-$x$ limit is presented. We first obtain the simplified forms of LO and NLO splitting functions in the small-$x$ limit. With these approximated splitting functions, we obtain the analytical gluon distribution by using the Mellin transform. The free parameters in the boundary conditions are obtained by fitting the CJ15 gluon distribution data. We find that the asymptotic behavior of gluon distribution are consistent with the CJ15 data, however, the NLO results with the consideration of ``ladder'' structure of gluon emission are slightly better than those from LO. These results indicate that the corrections from NLO is significant and is necessary for a better description of the behavior of the gluon distribution in small-$x$ region. In addition, we investigate the DGLAP evolution of the proton structure function by using the analytical solution of the gluon distribution. The differential structure function shows that our results have a similar tendency with CJ15 at small-$x$.

Differential cross sections of the elastic pion-proton scattering are investigated at very small momentum transfer in a holographic QCD model, considering both the strong and Coulomb interaction in the Regge regime. The strong interaction is described by the Pomeron and Reggeon exchange, and the Coulomb interaction is characterized by the one photon exchange. The two interactions are linked through an interference term and we only need to determine a single adjustable parameter involved in this term. As to the parameters for the strong interaction, we can utilize the values determined in the previous studies. The differential cross sections can be predicted without any additional parameters, and it is shown that our predictions are consistent with the experimental data. We explicitly show the momentum transfer dependence for the interference effect. The energy dependence of the contribution ratios for each component is also discussed.

Whether in the small-$x$ region or the large-$x$ region, our gluon distribution of pion is consistent with the results of lattice QCD and continuum Schwinger function method. In addition, the first four moments of gluon distributions of pion and kaon at different $Q^{2}$ scales are calculated. Furthermore, we present the mass decompositions of pion and kaon with the dynamical parton distribution functions calculated by the DGLAP equation with parton-parton recombination corrections. The mass structures of pion and kaon are totally different from that of the proton.

The Abelian decomposition of QCD reveals two types of gluons: color-neutral ``neurons" and color-carrying ``chromons". This classification does not alter the overall properties of QCD, but the investigation of different types of gluon dynamics is necessary. By employing the Cho-Duan-Ge decomposition theorem, we have derived dynamic evolution equations for two types of gluons by using the time-ordered perturbation theory. We propose that the new equations are compatible with the DGLAP equations, requiring only the separate contributions of neurons and chromons to be summed. Surprisingly, with the evolution to high $Q^2$, the ratio of the number of chromons to neurons is approximately 3:1 in small-$x$ region regardless of the inputs at evolution starting point. The new gluon dynamic equations reevaluate the gluon distribution functions and allow for a elaborate inverstigation of the distinct contributions of gluons in high-energy collisions.

Gravitational form factors of hadrons provide information on mass and pressure distributions in the hadrons, and they have been investigated by generalized parton distributions (GPDs). The GPDs also contain information on internal compositions of hadron spins. Understanding on the origin of hadron masses, pressures, and spins is an important topic not only in hadron physics but also as fundamental physics, and it should be clarified by the GPD studies. The spacelike and timelike GPDs have been measured at charged-lepton accelerator facilities, for example, by the virtual Compton scattering and the two-photon process, respectively. In this work, we show the $π^\pm$ and $π^0$ production cross sections in neutrino (antineutrino) reactions $ν\,(\barν) + N \to \ell + π+ N'$ for measuring the GPDs of the nucleon by using the theoretical formalism of Pire, Szymanowski, and Wagner. The $π^\pm$-production cross sections are useful for determining gluon GPDs, whereas the $π^0$ production probes quark GPDs. In particular, we show the roles of the pion- and rho-pole terms, the contribution from each GPD term ($H$, $E$, $\tilde H$, $\tilde E$), the effects of the gluon GPDs $H_g$ and $E_g$, and the effects of the reaction energy on the neutrino cross sections. The $π^0$-production cross section is sensitive to the quark GPDs including the pion- and rho-pole GPD terms in the Efremov-Radyushkin-Brodsky-Lepage region. These cross sections could be measured at Fermilab in future. The neutrino GPD studies will play a complementary role to the projects of charged-lepton and hadron reactions for determining the accurate GPDs.

We use the parity projected sum rules to separate the contributions of negative and positive parities from the two-point correlations induced by the pentaquark interpolating currents. Our results show that the bound states of $P_{cc}$ pentaquarks may exist in the $Λ_cD\, (\frac{1}{2}^-)$, $Σ_cD\, (\frac{1}{2}^-)$, $Σ_cD^*\, (\frac{3}{2}^-)$, $Λ_c^*D\, (\frac{3}{2}^-)$, $Λ_c^*D^*\, (\frac{5}{2}^-)$ channels with negative-parity and $Σ_cD\, (\frac{1}{2}^+)$, $Σ_cD^\ast\, (\frac{3}{2}^+)$, $Σ_c^\ast D\, (\frac{3}{2}^+)$ channels with positive-parity, since their masses are predicted to be lower than the corresponding meson-baryon thresholds. However, they are still allowed to decay into the $Ξ_{cc}^{(\ast)}π$ final states via strong interaction. The triply charged $P_{cc}^{+++}(ccuu\bar d)$ and neutral $P_{cc}^{0}(ccdd\bar u)$ in the isospin quartet would definitely be pentaquark states due to their exotic charges. We suggest searching for these characteristic doubly charmed pentaquark signals in the $P_{cc}^{+++}\toΞ_{cc}^{(\ast) ++}π^+/ρ^+$, $Σ_c^{(\ast)++}D^{(\ast)+}$ and $P_{cc}^{0}\toΞ_{cc}^{(\ast) +}π^-/ρ^-$, $Σ_c^{(\ast)0}D^{(\ast)0}$ decays in the near future.

The dilaton potentials solved from Einstein equations are in good agreement with the extended non-conformal DeWolfe-Gubser-Rosen (DGR) type dilaton potentials fixed by lattice QCD EOS, which indicates the robustness of the EMD framework. The predicted critical endpoint (CEP) in the 2+1-flavor system is located at $(T^c$=0.094GeV, $μ^c_B$=0.74GeV), which is close to the results from the realistic Polyakov-Nambu-Jona-Lasinio(PNJL) model, the functional renormalization group, and the holographic model with extended DeWolfe-Gubser-Rosen dilaton potential.

Long-lived particles (LLPs) provide an unambiguous signal for physics beyond the Standard Model (BSM). They have a distinct detector signature, with decay lengths corresponding to lifetimes of around nanoseconds or longer. Lepton colliders allow LLP searches to be conducted in a clean environment, and such searches can reach their full physics potential when combined with machine learning (ML) techniques. In the case of LLPs searches from Higgs decay in $e^+e^-\to ZH$, we show that the LLP signal efficiency can be improved up to 99% with an LLP mass around 50 GeV and a lifetime of approximately $1$ nanosecond, using deep neural network based approaches. The signal sensitivity for the branching ratio of Higgs decaying into LLPs reaches $1.2 \times 10^{-6}$ with a statistics of $4 \times 10^{6}$ Higgs.

The full data set of the Daya Bay reactor neutrino experiment is used to probe the effect of the charged current non-standard interactions (CC-NSI) on neutrino oscillation experiments. Two different approaches are applied and constraints on the corresponding CC-NSI parameters are obtained with the neutrino flux taken from the Huber-Mueller model with a $5\%$ uncertainty. For the quantum mechanics-based approach (QM-NSI), the constraints on the CC-NSI parameters $ε_{eα}$ and $ε_{eα}^{s}$ are extracted with and without the assumption that the effects of the new physics are the same in the production and detection processes, respectively. The approach based on the weak effective field theory (WEFT-NSI) deals with four types of CC-NSI represented by the parameters $[\varepsilon_{X}]_{eα}$. For both approaches, the results for the CC-NSI parameters are shown for cases with various fixed values of the CC-NSI and the Dirac CP-violating phases, and when they are allowed to vary freely. We find that constraints on the QM-NSI parameters $ε_{eα}$ and $ε_{eα}^{s}$ from the Daya Bay experiment alone can reach the order $\mathcal{O}(0.01)$ for the former and $\mathcal{O}(0.1)$ for the latter, while for WEFT-NSI parameters $[\varepsilon_{X}]_{eα}$, we obtain $\mathcal{O}(0.1)$ for both cases.

In order to gain insight into the effective potentials produced by the X17 boson for hyperfine interactions in muonic systems, we conduct calculations for both the pseudoscalar and vector hypotheses. Our study reveals that, for muonic atoms with nuclear charge numbers ranging from 10 to 15, the energy shift associated with the fifth force can be as high as 0.61 eV. These effects have the potential to be detected through the utilization of high-precision X-ray detectors that are used to analyze the energy spectrum of muonic characteristic X-rays.

Motivated by the LHCb Collaboration's observation of a doubly charmed tetraquark state $T_{cc}(3875)$, we systematically investigate the existence of doubly charmed pentaquark states using the resonating group method based on the QDCSM framework. The effective potential of the two involved hadrons and the bound state dynamics are included in the present work. Moreover, we have also calculated the scattering phase shifts of open channels by channel coupling to look for possible resonance states. Our estimations indicate that there is a bound state in $I(J^{P})=\frac{3}{2}(\frac{5}{2}^{-})$, with a mass of $4461.7$ MeV. Additionally, five resonance states can be obtained by coupling the open channel, which are $Ξ_{cc}ρ$ and $Σ_{c}D^{\ast}$ with $I(J^{P})=\frac{1}{2}(\frac{1}{2}^{-})$, $Λ_{c}D^{\ast}$ and $Σ_{c}D^{\ast}$ with $I(J^{P})=\frac{1}{2}(\frac{3}{2}^{-})$ and $Σ_{c}D^{\ast}$ with $I(J^{P})=\frac{3}{2}(\frac{1}{2}^{-})$respectively. The existence of these predicted doubly charmed pentaquark states needs to be supported by experimental measurements and discoveries. We hope that some experiments can find evidence of these states.

The calculations are performed in the framework of the rescaling model and Kimber-Martin-Ryskin (KMR) prescription, where the Bessel-inspired behavior of parton densities at small Bjorken $x$ values, obtained in the case of flat initial conditions in the double scaling QCD approximation, is applied. The derived expressions are used to evaluate the inclusive heavy flavor production in proton-lead collisions at the LHC. This study delves into the contribution of the strange quark within the proton, which influences several fundamental proton properties. By establishing a robust relationship between the proton's quantum anomalous energy and the sigma term, we successfully extract the contribution of the strangeness sigma term in the proton, obtaining it from parameterized fits of the differential cross-section using exponential and dipole forms. The extracted sigma term values are estimated to be $455.62\pm64.60$ MeV (exponential fit) and $337.74\pm106.79$ MeV (dipole fit). Additionally, we present novel results for the proton trace anomalous energy, observing values of $0.13\pm0.02$ (exponential fit) and $0.15 \pm 0.03$ (dipole fit). Our analysis integrates the novel data from the $J/ψ-007$ and GlueX collaborations, to some extent providing an experimental phenomenological window into the non-zero strange quark content inside proton, with the statistical significances: $7.1σ$ (exponential fit) and $3.2σ$ (dipole fit), respectively. Furthermore, we discussed the possibility of scheme-independence in the extraction results and examine the uniformity of sigma terms obtained from the datasets provided by the two collaborations. Our analysis may reveals compatibility between the extracted results of the respective experiments.
