In this paper we investigate the statistical mechanics within the Linear-Quadratic GUP (LQGUP, i.e, GUP with linear and quadratic terms in momentum) models in the semiclassical regime. Then, some thermodynamic properties of a system of 3-dimensional harmonic oscillators are investigated by calculating the deformed partition functions. According to the equipartition theorem, we show that the number of accessible microstates decreases sharply in the very high temperatures regime. When the thermal de Broglie wavelength is of the order of the Planck length, three degrees of freedom are frozen in this setup. In other words, it is observed that there is an effective reduction of the degrees of freedom from 6 to 3 for a system of 3D harmonic oscillators in this framework. The calculations are carried out using both approximate analytical and exact numerical methods. The results of the analytical method are also presented in the form of thermal wavelengths for better understanding. Finally, the case of a 2-dimensional harmonic is treated as another example to comprehend the results, leading to a reduction of the degrees of freedom from 4 to 2.

In this paper we construct a dissipative quintessential cosmic inflation. For this purpose, we add a multiplicative dissipative term in the standard quintessence field Lagrangian. We consider the specific form of dissipation as the time integral including the Hubble parameter and an arbitrary function that describes the dissipative properties of the quintessential scalar field. Inflation parameters and observables are calculated under slow-roll approximations and a detailed calculation of the cosmological perturbations is performed in this setup. We consider different forms of potentials and calculate the scalar spectral index and tensor-to-scalar ratio for a constant as well as variable dissipation function. To check the reliability of this model, a numerical analysis on the model parameters space is done in confrontation with recent observational data. By comparing the results with observational joint datasets at 68% and 95% confidence levels, we obtain some constraints on the model parameters space, specially the dissipation factor with e-folds numbers N = 55 and N = 60. As some specific results, we show that the power-law potential with a constant dissipation factor and N = 60 is mildly consistent with observational data in some restricted domains of the model parameter space with very small and negative dissipation factor and a negligible tensor-toscalar ratio. But this case with N = 55 is consistent with observation considerably. For power-law potential and variable dissipation factor as $Q = αφ^n$, the consistency with observation is also considerable with a reliable tensor-to-scalar ratio. The quadratic and quartic potentials with variable dissipation function as $Q = αφ^n$ are consistent with Planck2018 TT, TE, EE+lowE+lensing data at the 68% and 95% levels of confidence for some intervals of the parameter n.

Consideration of extra spatial dimensions is motivated by the unification of gravity with other interactions, the achievement of the ultimate framework of quantum gravity, and fundamental problems in particle physics and cosmology. Much attention has been focused on the effect of these extra dimensions on the modified theories of gravity. Analytically examining astrophysical phenomena like black hole shadows is one approach to understand how extra dimensions would affect the modified gravitational theories. The purpose of this study is to derive a higher dimensional metric for a dark compact object in STVG theory and then examine the behavior of the shadow shapes for this solution in STVG theory in higher dimensions. We apply the Carter method to formulate the geodesic equations and the Hamilton Jacobi method to find photon orbits around this higher dimensional MOG dark compact object. We investigate the effects of extra dimensions and the STVG parameter alpha on the black hole shadow size. Next, we compare the shadow radius of this higher dimensional MOG dark compact object to the shadow size of the supermassive black hole M87, which has been realized by the Event Horizon Telescope (EHT) collaborations, in order to restrict these parameters. We find that extra dimensions in the STVG theory typically lead to a reduction in the shadow size of the higher dimensional MOG dark compact object, whereas the effect of parameter alpha on this black hole shadow is suppressible. Remarkably, given the constraints from EHT observations, we find that the shadow size of the four dimensional MOG dark compact object lies in the confidence levels of the EHT data. Finally, we investigate the issue of acceleration bounds in higher dimensional MOG dark compact object in confrontation with EHT data of M87.

The standard cosmological model, known as the LambdaCDM model, has been successful in many respects, but it has some significant discrepancies, some of which have not been resolved yet. In measuring the Hubble-Lematre parameter, there is an apparent discrepancy which is known as the Hubble tension, defined as differences in values of this parameter measured by the Type Ia Supernovae (SNeIa) data (a model-independent method) and by the Cosmic Microwave Background (CMB) radiation maps (a model-dependent method). Although many potential solutions have been proposed, the issue still remains unresolved. Recently, it was observed that the Hubble tension can be due to the concept of uncertainty in measuring cosmological parameters at large distance scales through applying the Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle (HUP) in cosmological setups. Extending this pioneering idea, in the present study we plan to incorporate the Extended Uncertainty Principle (EUP) containing a minimal fundamental measurable momentum (or equivalently, a maximal fundamental measurable length) as a candidate setup for describing large-scale effects of Quantum Gravity (QG) to address the Hubble tension and constrain the EUP length scale. In this regard, by finding a relevant formula for the effective photon rest mass in terms of the present-time value of the Hubble-Lematre parameter, we see that discrepancies in the value of photon rest mass associated with the Hubble-Lematre parameter values estimated from model-independent and model-dependent methods perhaps is the cause of Hubble tension.

By considering the Friedmann equations emerging from the entropy-area law of black hole thermodynamics in the context of the generalized uncertainty principle, we study tachyon inflation in the early universe. The presence of a minimal length modifies the Friedmann equations and hence the slow-roll and perturbation parameters in the tachyon model. These modifications, though small, affect the viability of the tachyon inflation in confrontation with observational data. We compare the numerical results of the model with Planck2018 TT, TE, EE +lowE+lensing+BAO+BK14(18) data and Planck2018 TT, TE,EE +lowE+lensing+BK14(18) +BAO+LIGO $\&$ Virgo2016 data at $68\%$ and $95\%$ CL. We show that while the tachyon inflation with power-law, inverse power-law and inverse exponential potentials is not observationally viable in comparison with the $1σ$ and $2σ$ confidence levels of the new joint data, in the presence of the minimal length the model becomes observationally viable.

Unification of gravity with other interactions, achieving the ultimate framework of quantum gravity, and fundamental problems in particle physics and cosmology motivate to consider extra spatial dimensions. The impact of these extra dimensions on the modified theories of gravity has attracted a lot of attention. One way to examine how extra dimensions affect the modified gravitational theories is to analytically investigate astrophysical phenomena, such as black hole shadows. In this study, we aim to investigate the behavior of the shadow shapes of higher-dimensional charged black hole solutions including asymptotically locally flat (ALF) and asymptotically locally AdS (ALAdS) in Einstein-Horndeski-Maxwell (EHM) gravitational theory. We utilize the Hamilton-Jacobi method to find photon orbits around these black holes as well as the Carter approach to formulate the geodesic equations. Then, we constrain these parameters by comparing the shadow radius of these black holes with the shadow size of M87* supermassive black hole captured by the Event Horizon Telescope (EHT) collaborations. We discover that generally the presence of extra dimensions within the EHM gravity results in reducing the shadow size of higher-dimensional ALF and ALAdS charged black holes, whereas the impact of electric charge on the shadow of these black holes is suppressible....

In astrophysics, the process of a massive body acquiring matter is referred to as accretion. The extraction of gravitational energy occurs as a result of the infall. Since it converts gravitational energy into radiation, accretion onto dark compact objects, e.g. black holes, neutron stars, and white dwarfs is an extremely significant process in the astrophysical context. Accretion process is a fruitful way to explore the features of modified gravity (MOG) theories by testing the behavior of their solutions associated with dark compact objects. In this paper, we study the motion of electrically neutral and charged particles moving in around a regular spherically symmetric MOG dark compact object to explore their related innermost stable circular orbit (ISCO) and energy flux. Then, we turn to investigate the accretion of perfect fluid onto the regular spherically symmetric MOG dark compact object. We obtain analytical expressions for four-velocity and proper energy density of the accreting fluid. We see that the MOG parameter increases the ISCO radius of either electrically neutral or charged test particles while it decreases the corresponding energy flux. Moreover, the energy density and the radial component of the four-velocity of the infalling fluid decrease by increasing the MOG parameter near the central source.

We study cosmological inflation and reheating in the unimodular f(R,T) gravity. During the reheating era, which takes place just after the end of inflation, the energy density of inflaton is converted to radiation energy through, for instance, rapid oscillation about the minimum of the potential. We quantify our investigation by calculating the reheating temperature. This quantity is written in terms of the spectral index and the power spectrum, which provides a suitable framework to constrain the parameter space of the model. We discuss the massless particle creation for a spatially flat, homogeneous and isotropic universe in the context of unimodular f(R, T) gravity. We obtain the number of created particles per unit volume of space. In order to avoid the complexity of field equations, we conformally transform in Einstein frame and investigate the reheating by considering some specific illustrative examples. Inspired by string theory, Heisenberg's uncertainty principle can be generalized to include the photon-electron gravitational interaction, which leads to the Generalized Uncertainty Principle (GUP). Although GUP considers gravitational uncertainty at the minimum fundamental length scale in physics, it does not consider the effects of spacetime curvature on quantum mechanical uncertainty relations. The Extended Uncertainty Principle (EUP) is a generalization of Heisenberg's Uncertainty Principle that, unlike the GUP, applies to large length scales. GEUP is also a linear combination of EUP and GUP that creates minimal uncertainty on large length scales. The Einstein-Gauss-Bonnet theory (EGB) can be considered as one of the most promising candidates for modified gravity. In this paper, by using GUP, EUP, and GEUP, we intend to obtain the Hawking temperature of a four-dimensional EGB black hole in the asymptotically flat and (Anti)-de Sitter spacetime. We show that coupling constant, cosmological constant, mass, and radius significantly affect Hawking temperature and decrease or increase Hawking temperature depending on the chosen horizons.

In this paper, we study thermodynamic properties of the late time universe in the presence of a minimal measurable momentum cutoff that encodes infra-red modification of the underlying field theory. In this regard, we consider a non-relativistic regime and show that the existence of a minimal measurable momentum in the very essence of the theory leads to accelerating expansion of the universe, which can be interpreted as an alternative to Dark Energy. Hawking radiation as a quantum phenomenon is generally attributed to the existence of the event horizon of a black hole. However, we demonstrate in this paper that there is indeed ingoing Hawking-like radiation associated with apparent horizons of the first cosmological black hole solution in the framework of Scalar-Tensor-Vector Gravity (STVG) theory living in the Friedmann-Lemaître-Robertson-Walker (FLRW) background. Such radiation can be attributed also to the cosmological apparent horizon of the FLRW universe and even to the cosmological event horizon of de Sitter spacetime. We see how STVG theory as a good theory for explaining black holes both on local and global scales affect the Hawking effect. Based on semiclassical approximation, we follow Hamilton-Jacobi and Parikh-Wilczek tunneling methods, respectively with and without back-reaction effects. We find out that back-reaction effects make a correlation between the emission modes in Parikh-Wilczek tunneling formalism, which can address the information paradox. We obtain the corresponding Hawking-like temperature as a function of inverse powers of apparent horizons radiuses of the cosmological black hole in STVG theory. We analyze the influence of the STVG parameter associated with a deviation of the STVG theory from General Theory of Relativity (GR) on both apparent horizons and the Hawking-like temperature of the cosmological black hole. We show that increasing the STVG parameter results in appearing the Hawking-like temperature in later cosmic times with some smaller values. Also, we follow the Hamilton-Jacobi approach beyond semiclassical approximation to involve all quantum correction terms in the deduced semiclassical outcomes for the cosmological black hole in the STVG theory.

Also, we apply the tunneling of the massless particles from the horizon of 4D EGB gravity and we investigate the correlation between the emission modes and temperature of the horizon. In asymptotically flat spacetime, the existence of the coupling constant alone constructs the regular spacetime, the radiation deviates from the pure thermal, and the temperature of the black hole horizon would be zero in the final stage of the black hole evaporation. In Asymptotically de Sitter spacetime, results illustrate that the evolution of the temperatures is in direction of the remaining rest mass with the probably same temperature for the black hole and the cosmological horizon. In addition, the exciting result is that temperature behaviors exactly match with the temperature behaviors of a regular black hole in Lovelock gravity in a higher dimension.

It is well known that quantum effects may lead to remove the intrinsic singularity point of back holes. Also, the quintessence scalar field is a candidate model for describing late-time acceleration expansion. Accordingly, Kazakov and Solodukhin considered the existence of back-reaction of the spacetime due to the quantum fluctuations of the background metric to deform Schwarzschild black hole, which led to change the intrinsic singularity of the black hole to a 2-sphere with a radius of the order of the Planck length. Also, Kiselev rewrote the Schwarzschild metric by taking into account the quintessence field in the background. In this study, we consider the quantum-corrected Schwarzschild black hole inspired by Kazakov-Solodukhin's work, and Schwarzschild black hole surrounded by quintessence deduced by Kiselev to study the mutual effects of quantum fluctuations and quintessence on the accretion onto the black hole. Consequently, the radial component of 4-velocity and the proper energy density of the accreting fluid have a finite value on the surface of its central 2-sphere due to the presence of quantum corrections. Also, by comparing the accretion parameters in different kinds of black holes, we infer that the presence of a point-like electric charge in the spacetime is somewhat similar to some quantum fluctuations in the background metric.

By considering the back-reaction of the spacetime through the spherically symmetric quantum fluctuations of the background metric, Kazakov and Solodukhin removed the singularity of the Schwarzschild black hole. This regular Schwarzschild black hole has a spherical central region with a radius of the order of the Planck length. On the other hand, due to the positively accelerating expansion of the Universe, it seems that there exists a universal repulsive force known as dark energy. In the framework of quantum field theories, the quintessence field is a candidate model for investigating and modeling dark energy. Accordingly, by taking into account the quintessential matter field in the background of the Schwarzschild black hole, Kiselev gained the metric of this black hole surrounded by quintessence. By combining these two above ideas, in the present study we consider the quantum-corrected Schwarzschild black hole surrounded by quintessence to investigate null and time-like geodesics structure. Generally, this study points out that black holes are quantum-gravitational objects. We will show that the accelerated expansion of the Universe, instead of dark energy, happens because of the presence of quantum effects in this setup. Also, due to the presence of the central Planck-size sphere, the regular black hole has been possessed a shifting over radial coordinate in its inner structure.

We consider a quantum-corrected form of the Schwarzschild black hole inspired by the pioneering work of Kazakov and Solodukhin to modify the famous Parikh-Wilczek tunneling process for Hawking radiation. We prove that in this framework the radiation is not thermal, with a correlation function more effective than the Parikh-Wilczek result, and the information loss problem can be addressed more successfully. Also, we realize that quantum correction affects things in the same way as an electric charge. So, it seems that quantum correction in this framework has something to do with the electric charge.

We study the primordial perturbations and reheating process in the models where the Gauss-Bonnet term is non-minimally coupled to the canonical and non-canonical (DBI and tachyon) scalar fields. We consider several potentials and Gauss-Bonnet coupling terms as power-law, dilaton-like, $\cosh$-type, E-model and T-model. To seek the observational viability of these models, we study the scalar perturbations numerically and compare the results with the Planck2018 TT, TE, EE+lowE+lensing+BK14+BAO joint data at $68\%$ CL and $95\%$ CL. We also study the tensor perturbations in confrontation with the Planck2018 TT, TE, EE+lowE+lensing+BK14+BAO+ LIGO$\&$Virgo2016 joint data at $68\%$ CL and $95\%$ CL. In this regard, we obtain some constraints on the Gauss-Bonnet coupling parameter $β$. Another important process in the early universe is the reheating phase after inflation which is necessary to reheat the universe for subsequent evolution. In this regard, we study the reheating process in these models and find some expressions for the e-folds number and temperature during that era. Considering that from Planck TT,TE,EE+lowEB+lensing data and BICEP2/Keck Array 2014, based on the $Λ$CDM$+r+\frac{dn_{s}}{d\ln k}$ model, we have $n_{s}=0.9658\pm 0.0038$ and $r<0.072$, we obtain some constraints on the e-folds number and temperature. From the values of the e-folds number and the effective equation of state and also the observationally viable value of the scalar spectral index, we explore the capability of the models in explaining the reheating phase.

We consider two general cases with varying and constant sound speeds and construct the potentials for both the DBI and Mimetic DBI models. By considering the power-law scale factor as $a=a_{0}\,t^{n}$, we seek for the observational viability of these models. We show that, the Mimetic DBI model in some ranges of the parameters space is free of ghost and gradient instabilities. By studying $r-n_{s}$ and $α_{s}-n_{s}$ behavior in confrontation with Planck2018 data, we find some constraints on the model's parameters. We show that for the case with varying sound speed, although power-law DBI inflation is not consistent with Planck2018 TT, TE, EE+low E+lensing data, but the Mimetic DBI inflation is consistent with Planck2018 TT, TE, EE+low E+lensing data at 95$\%$ CL, in some ranges of the model's parameters space as $40\leq n \leq 55$ where the model is instabilities-free in these ranges of parameters too. For the constant sound speed, by adopting some sample values of $c_{s}$, we study both DBI and Mimetic DBI model numerically and find $n\sim 10^{2}$ for DBI model and $n\sim 10$ for Mimetic DBI model. We also compare the results with Planck2018 TT, TE, EE+low E+lensing+BK14+BAO data and see that the DBI and Mimetic DBI model with varying sound speed are ruled out with these joint data. However, these models with constant sound speed are consistent with Planck2018 TT, TE, EE+low E+lensing+BK14+BAO data with $n\sim 10^{2}$ for DBI model and $n\sim 10$ for Mimetic DBI model. In this case, we find some tighter constraints on the corresponding sound speed.

This low energy cutoff originates from the existence of a minimal measurable uncertainty as a result of the curvature of background manifold, and can be encoded in an extended uncertainty relation. Inspired by black hole entropy-area relation, we extend the analysis to the thermodynamics of apparent horizon of the universe. By treating both the Newtonian and general relativistic cosmologies, we show that the contribution of infra-red cutoff in the equations of dynamics can be interpreted as an effective fluid which is capable of explaining late time cosmic speed up and even transition to a phantom phase of expansion. We use the latest observational data from PLANCK2018 to constrain the parameter of an extended uncertainty relation.

In this paper, using a qualitative theory of dynamical systems, we study the stability of a unified dark matter-dark energy framework known as quartessence Chaplygin model (QCM) with three different equation-of-states within ultraviolet (UV) deformed Friedmann-Robertson-Walker (FRW) cosmologies without Big-Bang singularity. The UV deformation is inspired by the non-commutative (NC) Snyder spacetime approach in which by keeping the transformation groups and rotational symmetry there is a dimensionless, Planck scale characteristic parameter $μ_0$ with dual implications dependent on its sign that addresses the required invariant cutoffs for length and momentum in nature, in a separate manner. Our stability analysis is done in the $(H,ρ)$ phase space at a finite domain concerning the hyperbolic critical points. According to our analysis, due to constraints imposed on the signs of $μ_0$ from the phenomenological parameters involved in quartessence models $(Ω_m^*, c_s^2, ρ_*)$, for an expanding and accelerating late universe, all three QCMs can be stable in the vicinity of the critical points. The requirement of stability for these quartessence models in case of admission of a minimum invariant length, can yield a flat as well as non-flat expanding and accelerating universe in which Big-Bang singularity is absent. This feedback also phenomenologically credits to braneworld-like framework versus loop quantum cosmology-like one as two possible scenarios which can be NC Snyder spacetime generators (correspond to $μ_0<0$ and $μ_0>0$, respectively). As a result, our analysis show that between quartessence models with Chaplygin gas equation-of-states and accelerating FRW backgrounds occupied by a minimum invariant length, there is a possibility of viability.

By starting with a two-fields model in which the fields and their derivatives are nonminimally coupled to gravity, and then by using a conformal gauge, we obtain a model in which the derivatives of the canonically normalized field are nonminimally coupled to gravity. By adopting some appropriate functions, we study two cases with constant and E-model nonminimal derivative coupling, while the potential in both cases is chosen to be E-model one. We show that in contrary to the single field $α$-attractor model that there is an attractor \textit{point} in the large $N$ and small $α$ limits, in our setup and for both mentioned cases there is an attractor \emph{line} in these limits that the $r-n_{s}$ trajectories tend to. By studying the linear and nonlinear perturbations in this setup and comparing the numerical results with Planck2015 observational data, we obtain some constraints on the free parameter $α$. We show that by considering the E-model potential and coupling function, the model is observationally viable for all values of $M$ (mass scale of the model). We use the observational constraints on the tensor-to-scalar ratio and the consistency relation to obtain some constraints on the sound speed of the perturbations in this model. As a result, we show that in a nonminimal derivative $α$-attractor model, it is possible to have small sound speed and therefore large non-Gaussianity.

To seek for a singularity free model universe from a perfect fluid scalar-metric cosmology, we work in the "\emph{Emergent Cosmology}" (EC) paradigm which is a non-singular alternative for cosmological inflation. By using two methods including Linear Stability Theory and Effective Potential Formalism, we perform a classical analysis on the possible static solutions (that are called usually as Einstein Static Universes (ESU)in literature) in order to study EC paradigm in a FRW background. Our model contains a kinetic term of the scalar field minimally coupled to the background geometry without a potential term. The matter content of the model consists of a perfect fluid plus a cosmological constant $Λ$ as a separate source. In the framework of a local dynamical system analysis, we show that in the absence or presence of $Λ$, depending on some adopted values for the free parameters of the underlying cosmological model with flat and non-flat spatial geometries, one gets some static solutions which are viable under classical linear perturbations. By extending our study to a global dynamical system analysis, we show that in the presence of $Λ$ with non-flat spatial geometries there is a future global de Sitter attractor in this model. Following the second method, we derive a new static solution that represents a stable ESU but this time without dependence on the free parameters of the cosmological model at hand. As a whole, our analysis suggests the possibility of graceful realization of a non-singular EC paradigm (i.e. leaving the initial static phase and entering the inflation period as the universe is evolving) through either preserving or violation of the strong energy condition.

We reconsider the stochastic gravitational wave background spectrum produced during the first order hadronization process, in presence of ultraviolet cutoffs suggested by the generalized uncertainty principle as a promising signature towards the Planck scale physics. Unlike common perception that the dynamics of QCD phase transition and its phenomenological consequences are highly influenced by the critical temperature, we find that the underlying Planck scale modifications can affect the stochastic gravitational spectrum arising from the QCD transition without a noteworthy change in the relevant critical temperature. Our investigation shows that incorporating the natural cutoffs into MIT bag equation of state and background evolution leads to a growth in the stochastic gravitational power spectrum, while the relevant redshift of the QCD era, remains unaltered. These results have double implications from the point of view of phenomenology. Firstly, it is expected to enhance the chance of detecting the stochastic gravitational signal created by such a transition in future observations. Secondly, it gives a hint on the decoding from the dynamics of QCD phase transition.

The project of \emph{"quantum spacetime phenomenology"} focuses on searching pragmatically for the Planck scale quantum features of spacetime. Among these features is the existence of a characteristic length scale addressed commonly by effective approaches to quantum gravity (QG). This characteristic length scale could be realized, for instance and simply, by generalizing the standard Heisenberg uncertainty principle (HUP) to a \emph{"generalized uncertainty principle"} (GUP). While usually it is expected that phenomena belonging to the realm of QG are essentially probable solely at the so-called Planck energy, here we show how a GUP proposal containing the most general modification of coordinate representation of the momentum operator could be probed by a \emph{"cold atomic ensemble recoil experiment"} (CARE) as a low energy quantum system. This proposed atomic interferometer setup has advantages over the conventional architectures owing to the enclosure in a high finesse optical cavity which is supported by a new class of low power consumption integrated devices known as \emph{"micro-electro-opto-mechanical systems"} (MEOMS). The proposed system comprises of a micro mechanical oscillator instead of spherical confocal mirrors as one of the components of high finesse optical cavity. In the framework of a bottom-up QG phenomenological viewpoint and by taking into account the measurement accuracy realized for the fine structure constant (FSC) from the Rubidium ($^{87}$Rb) CARE, we set some constraints as upper bounds on the characteristic parameters of the underlying GUP. In the case of superposition of the possible GUP modification terms, we managed to set a tight constraint as $0.999978<λ_0<1.00002$ for the dimensionless characteristic parameter.

The existence of a minimal measurable length as a characteristic length in the Planck scale is one of the main features of quantum gravity and has been widely explored in the context. Various different deformations of spacetime have been employed successfully for the purpose. However, polymer quantization approach is a relatively new and dynamic field towards the quantum gravity phenomenology, which emerges from the symmetric sector of the loop quantum gravity. In this article, we extend the standard ideas of polymer quantization to find a new and tighter bound on the polymer deformation parameter. Our protocol relies on an opto-mechanical experimental setup that was originally proposed in Ref.\cite{ref:Igor} to explore some interesting phenomena by embedding the minimal length into the standard canonical commutation relation. We extend this scheme to probe the \emph{polymer length} deformed canonical commutation relation of the center of mass mode of a mechanical oscillator with a mass around the Planck scale. The method utilizes the novelty of exchanging the relevant mechanical information with a high intensity optical pulse inside an optical cavity. We also demonstrate that our proposal is within the reach of the current technologies and, thus, it could uncover a decent realization of quantum gravitational phenomena thorough a simple table-top experiment.

A new class of cosmological solutions, that the unimodular constraint on the metric imposes on the $f(R,T)$ theories, are studied. This extension is done in both Jordan and Einstein frames. We show that while the Lagrange multiplier (that imposes the unimodular constraint on the action) depends on the cosmic time in Jordan frame and therefore, can act as an evolving scalar field in the universe history, in the Einstein frame it acts as a cosmological constant. Then a general reconstruction method is used to realize an explicit form of the unimodular $f(R,T)$ corresponding to a given cosmological solution. In the small $α$ limit we obtain an attractor at $r=0$ as expected, and in the large $α$ limit we recover the Gauss-Bonnet model with potential and coupling function of the form $φ^{2n}$. We study perturbations and non-Gaussianity in this setup and we find some constraints on the model's parameters in comparison with PLANCK datasets. We study also the reheating epoch after inflation in this setup. For this purpose, we seek the number of e-folds and temperature during reheating epoch. These quantities depend on the model's parameter and the effective equation of state of the dominating energy density in the reheating era. We find some observational constraints on these parameters.

We extend the idea of mimetic gravity to a Randall-Sundrum II braneworld model. As for the 4-dimensional mimetic gravity, we isolate the conformal degree of freedom of 5-dimensional gravity in a covariant manner. We assume the bulk metric to be made up of a non-dynamical scalar field $Φ$ and an auxiliary metric $\tilde{\cal{G}}_{AB}$ so that ${\cal{G}}_{AB}= \tilde{\cal{G}}^{CD}\,Φ_{,C}\,Φ_{,D}\,\tilde{\cal{G}}_{AB}$ where $A, B, ...$ are the bulk spacetime indices. Then we show that the induced conformal degree of freedom on the brane as an induced scalar field, plays the role of a mimetic field on the brane. In fact, we suppose that the scalar degree of freedom which mimics the dark sectors on the brane has its origin on the bulk scalar field, $Φ$. By adopting some suitable mimetic potentials on the brane, we show that this brane mimetic field explains the late time cosmic expansion in the favor of observational data: the equation of state parameter of this field crosses the cosmological constant line in near past from quintessence to phantom phase in a redshift well in the range of observation. We show also that this induced mimetic scalar field has the capability to explain initial time cosmological inflation. We study parameter space of the models numerically in order to constraint the models with Planck2015 data set.

By considering a deformation of the Schwarzschild metric in the presence of a minimal measurable length which still respects the equivalence principle, we study corrections to the standard general relativistic predictions for some astrophysical phenomena such as stability of circular orbits of black hole accretion disks, redshift of black hole accretion disks, gravitational tidal forces and the geodetic drift rate. We use the \emph{Gravity Probe B} data to see robustness of our results. Our analysis shows also that the relevant deformation parameter $\varepsilon$ which has a geometric origin, plays the same role as the charge to mass ratio, $\frac{e}{m}$ in the Reissner-Nordström metric.

We investigate the realization of the emergent universe scenario in theories with natural UV cutoffs, namely a minimum length and a maximum momentum, quantified by a new deformation parameter in the generalized uncertainty principle. We extract the Einstein static universe solutions and we examine their stability through a phase-space analysis. As we show, the role of the new deformation parameter is crucial in a twofold way: Firstly, it leads to the appearance of new Einstein static universe critical points, that are absent in standard cosmology. Secondly, it provides a way for a graceful exit from the Einstein static universe into the expanding thermal history, that is needed for a complete and successful realization of the emergent universe scenario.

Focusing on the local type primordial non-Gaussianities, we study the bispectrum and trispectrum during a non-minimal slow-roll inflation. We use the so-called $δN$ formalism to investigate the super-horizon evolution of the primordial perturbations in this setup. Firstly we obtain the main equations of the model and introduce the framework of the $δN$ formalism for this case. Then we give analytical expressions for the nonlinear parameters describing the non-Gaussianity in the slow-roll approximation. We analyze the bispectrum by its non-linear parameter, $f_{NL}$. Furthermore, we calculate $τ_{NL}$ and $g_{NL}$ which are non-linear parameters characterizing the amplitude of trispectrum. Finally, by adopting a quadratic form for both the potential and non-minimal coupling (NMC) function, we test our setup in the light of Planck2015 data and constrain the model parameters space. Although the non-Gaussianity parameters are so small in this setup, this model is consistent with recent observation. We extend our analysis to see the situation in the Einstein frame and compare the results in these two frames.

We study a particular Galileon inflation in the light of Planck2015 observational data in order to constraint the model parameter space. We study the spectrum of the primordial modes of the density perturbations by expanding the action up to the second order in perturbations. Then we pursue by expanding the action up to the third order and find the three point correlation functions to find the amplitude of the non-Gaussianity of the primordial perturbations in this setup. We study the amplitude of the non-Gaussianity both in equilateral and orthogonal configurations and test the model with recent observational data. Our analysis shows that for some ranges of the non-minimal coupling parameter, the model is consistent with observation and it is also possible to have large non-Gaussianity which would be observable by future improvements in experiments. Moreover, we obtain the tilt of the tensor power spectrum and test the standard inflationary consistency relation ($r=-8n_T$) against the latest bounds from the Planck2015 dataset. We find a slight deviation from the standard consistency relation in this setup. Nevertheless, such a deviation seems not to be sufficiently remarkable to be detected confidently.

The doubly special relativity (DSR) theories are suggested in order to incorporate an observer-independent length scale in special theory of relativity. The Magueijo-Smolin proposal of DSR is realizable through a particular form of the noncommutative (NC) spacetime (known as $κ$-Minkowski spacetime) in which the Lorentz symmetry is preserved. In this framework, the NC parameter $κ$ provides the origin of natural cutoff energy scale. Using a nonlinear deformed relativistic dispersion relation along with the Lorentz transformations, we investigate some phenomenological facets of two-body collision problem (without creation of new particles) in a $κ$-Minkowski spacetime. By treating an elastic scattering problem, we study effects of the Planck scale energy cutoff on some relativistic kinematical properties of this scattering problem. The results are challenging in the sense that as soon as one turns on the $κ$-spacetime extension, the nature of the two-body collision alters from elastic to inelastic one. It is shown also that a significant kinematical variable involving in heavy ion collisions, the rapidity, is not essentially an additive quantity under a sequence of the nonlinear representation of the Lorentz transformations.

In this paper, we study thermostatistical properties of a photon gas in the framework of two deformed special relativity models defined by the cosmological coordinatizations of the de Sitter (dS) and anti-de Sitter (AdS) momentum spaces. The dS model is a doubly special relativity theory in which an ultraviolet length scale is invariant under the deformed Lorentz transformations. For the case of AdS model, however, the Lorentz symmetry breaks at the high energy regime. We show that the existence of a maximal momentum in dS momentum space leads to maximal pressure and temperature at the thermodynamical level while maximal internal energy and entropy arise for the case of the AdS momentum space due to the existence of a maximal kinematical energy. These results show the thermodynamical duality of these models much similar to their well-known kinematical duality.

The doubly special relativity (DSR) theories are investigated in order to take into account an observer-independent length scale in special relativity framework. It is widely believed that any quantum theory of gravity would reduce to a DSR model at the flat limit when purely gravitational and quantum mechanical effects are negligible. Gravity's rainbow is a simple generalization of DSR theories to incorporate gravity. In this paper, we show that the effective Friedmann equations that are suggested by loop quantum cosmology (LQC) can be exactly reobtained in rainbow cosmology setup. The deformed geometry of LQC then completely fixes the modified dispersion relation and results in unique DSR model. In comparison with standard LQC scenario where only the geometry is modified, both of the geometry and matter parts get modifications in our setup. In this respect, we find that the total number of microstates for the universe is finite which suggests the statistical origin for the energy and entropy density bounds. These results explicitly show that the DSR theories are appropriate candidates for the flat limit of loop quantum gravity.

We study a nonminimal derivative inflationary model in the presence of the Gauss-Bonnet term. To have a complete treatment of the model, we consider a general form of the nonminimal derivative function and also the Gauss-Bonnet coupling term. By following the ADM formalism, expanding the action up to the third order in the perturbations and using the correlation functions, we study the perturbation and its non-Gaussian feature in details. We also study the consistency relation that gets modified in the presence of the Gauss-Bonnet term in the action. We compare the results of our consideration in confrontation with Planck2015 observational data and find some constraints on the model's parameters. Our treatment shows that this model in some ranges of the parameters is consistent with the observational data. Also, in some ranges of model's parameters, the model predicts blue-tilted power spectrum. Finally, we show that nonminimal derivative model in the presence of the GB term has capability to have large non-Gaussianity.

We study cosmological dynamics of an extended gravitational theory that gravity is coupled non-minimally with derivatives of a dark energy component and there is also a phenomenological interaction between the dark energy and dark matter. Depending on the direction of energy flow between the dark sectors, the phenomenological interaction gets two different signs. We show that this feature affects the existence of attractor solution, the rate of growth of perturbations and stability of the solutions. By considering an exponential potential as a self-interaction potential of the scalar field, we obtain accelerated scaling solutions that are attractors and have the potential to alleviate the coincidence problem. While in the absence of the nonminimal derivative coupling there is no attractor solution for phantom field when energy transfers from dark matter to dark energy, we show an attractor solution exists if one considers an explicit nonminimal derivative coupling for phantom field in this case of energy transfer. We treat the cosmological perturbations in this setup with details to show that with phenomenological interaction, perturbations can grow faster than the minimal case.\\ {\bf Keywords}: Dynamical Systems; Dark Energy; Dark Matter; Non-Minimal Derivative Coupling, Statefinder Diagnostic, Cosmological Perturbations.
