Deep ASKAP EMU Survey of the GAMA23 field: Properties of radio sources
Abstract: We present the Australian Square Kilometre Array Pathfinder (ASKAP) observations of the Galaxy and Mass Assembly (GAMA)-23h field. The survey was carried out at 887.5 MHz and covers a 83 square degree field. We imaged the calibrated visibility data, taken as part of the Evolutionary Mapping of Universe (EMU) Early Science Programme, using the latest version of the ASKAPSoft pipeline. The final mos… ▽ More

Varying alpha and cosmic acceleration in Brans-Dicke-BSBM theory: stability analysis and observational tests
Abstract: By integration of generalized BSBM and Brans-Dicke cosmological models, in this article, we investigate the theoretical framework of fine structure constant variation and current cosmic acceleration. We first develop a mathematical formalism to analyse the stability of the model. By employing observational data to constrain the model parameters, phase space is performed and the attractor solutions… ▽ More

Cosmic acceleration and phantom crossing in $f(T)$-gravity
Abstract: In this paper, we propose two new models in $f(T)$ gravity to realize universe acceleration and phantom crossing due to dark torsion in the formalism. The model parameters are constrained and the observational test are discussed. The best fit results favors an accelerating universe with possible phantom crossing in the near past or future followed respectively by matter and radiation dominated era… ▽ More

Cosmography in f(T)-gravity
Abstract: Being based on the only assumption that the universe is homogenous and isotropic on large scales, cosmography is an ideal tool to investigate the cosmic expansion history in a almost model-independent way. Fitting the data on the luminosity distance and Baryon Acoustic Oscillations allows to determine the confidence ranges for the cosmographic parameters hence giving some quantitative constraints… ▽ More

The curvaton scenario in Brane cosmology: model parameters and their constraints
Abstract: We have studied the curvaton scenario in brane world cosmology in an intermediate inflationary scenario. This approach has allowed us to find some constraints on different parameters that appear in the model.

Attractors, Statefinders and Observational Measurement for Chameleonic Brans--Dicke Cosmology
Abstract: We investigate chameleonic Brans--Dicke model applied to the FRW universes. A framework to study stability and attractor solutions in the phase space is developed for the model. We show that depending on the matter field and stability conditions, it is possible to realize phantom-like behavior without introducing phantom filed in the model while the stability is fulfilled and phantom crossing occu… ▽ More

Chameleonic Generalized Brans--Dicke model and late-time acceleration
Abstract: In this paper we consider Chameleonic Generalized Brans--Dicke Cosmology in the framework of FRW universes. The bouncing solution and phantom crossing is investigated for the model. Two independent cosmological tests: Cosmological Redshift Drift (CRD) and distance modulus are applied to test the model with the observation.

On Dynamics of Brans--Dicke Theory of Gravitation
Abstract: We study longstanding problem of cosmological clock in the context of Brans-Dicke theory of gravitation. We present the Hamiltonian formulation of the theory for a class of spatially homogenous cosmological models. Then, we show that formulation of the Brans-Dicke theory in the Einstein frame allows how an identification of an appropriate cosmological time variable, as a function of the scalar fie… ▽ More

A 5D noncompact Kaluza -Klein cosmology in the presence of Null perfect fluid
Abstract: For the description of the early inflation, and acceleration expansion of the Universe, compatible with observational data, the 5D noncompact Kaluza--Klein cosmology is investigated. It is proposed that the 5D space is filled with a null perfect fluid, resulting a perfect fluid in 4D universe, plus one along the fifth dimension. By analyzing the reduced field equations for flat FRW model, we show… ▽ More

Bouncing Universe and phantom crossing in Modified Gravity and its reconstruction
Abstract: In this paper we consider FRW cosmology in modified gravity which contain arbitrary functions $f(φ)$. It is shown that the bouncing solution appears in the model whereas the equation of state (EoS) parameter crosses the phantom divider. The reconstruction of the model is also investigated with the aim to reconstruct the arbitrary functions and variables of the model.

Cosmic Dynamics in the Chameleon Cosmology
Abstract: We study in this paper chameleon cosmology applied to Friedmann-Robertson-Walker space, which gives rise to the equation of state (EoS) parameter larger than -1 in the past and less than -1 today, satisfying current observations. We also study cosmological constraints on the model using the time evolution of the cosmological redshift of distant sources which directly probes the expansion history o… ▽ More
