Come through the ARTS at King Street Station gallery before COMPLEXITY leaves on July 20. With the Independence Day holiday, July 11 is Pioneer Square’s “First Thursday” Art Walk, so make us a stop on your rounds.

DJ Surreal will spin in the plaza while four artists paint canvases live. Upstairs in the gallery is the legendary Dogtown Collection, screenings of Prophets Teachers and Kings, easy-to-follow street dance videos to learn some moves, and the opening of Luminous Being by Zabia Colovos. Light refreshments provided.

Luminous Being by Zabia Colovos is an immersive journey of mythic imagination that walks the space between the conscious and unconscious.

With a body of work spanning over a decade of self-reflection and profound inquiry into the nature of human suffering and our inherent capacity to heal, Colovos invites us on a voyage of the Soul in which we encounter both our darkness and our light, with all paths leading to wholeness.

Through multimedia installation, photography, sculpture, and more, Colovos’ work reveals an intimate view of the artist’s personal life journey while holding space for visitors to witness their own.
