Southern Bancorp revealed last month that Joycelin Randle has been chosen as its senior manager of investor relations and stakeholder engagement. This position is key in supporting the organization’s impact and growth potential.
Randle brings over two decades of experience in fundraising and relationship management to her new role, most recently serving as the director of individual giving for the Arkansas Children’s Foundation, where she developed and managed the mid-level giving team and fostered relationships with major and planned giving donors. The North Little Rock native has also previously served as the senior development officer for Arkansas Children’s.
“We are thrilled to welcome Joycelin to the Southern Bancorp team,” said Kenya Davenport, interim president of Southern Bancorp Community Partners. “Utilizing the support of partnerships and investments to create greater impacts for underserved communities is an important function of our mission. Joycelin’s extensive background and expertise in this field will be invaluable assets for our institution and the people and places we serve.”
Similar roles and responsibilities performed by Randle include senior director of development for the University of Oregon School of Law, executive director of development for the University of Central Arkansas and director of development for the University of Denver Sturm College of Law.
Randle graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Arkansas State University before earning a Doctor of Jurisprudence from Vanderbilt University Law School. She stays involved in her local community through various organizations such as the Association of Fundraising Professionals, Arkansas Chapter, Vanderbilt Law School Alumni, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Junior League of North Little Rock, Jack and Jill of America, Greater Little Rock Chapter and the Arkansas State Alumni Association.
“It’s an honor to join such an impactful and values-driven team at Southern Bancorp,” said Joycelin Randle. “Much of my career has revolved around turning organizational relationships into benefits for customers and constituents. I am humbled for the opportunity to do this work in support of the under-resourced communities that we exist to serve.”
