I have had bad experiences especially over the last three weeks trying to connect to machines. I wasted too much time trying to do laundry without being able to get the all to function properly. One week after adding $40 I was only able to do 3 loads but still my funds were deducted to $20 something dollars. I still need to make time to follow up and request a refund and I should not have to add this to my to-do list! I wasn’t able to connect to the driers after finally getting a couple of loads done and was fortunate that a neighbor friend helped me by using her phone to connect to the drier, otherwise I would have been stuck with a bunch of wet clothes. Now whenever I do laundry I’m stressed about whether I’m actually going to be able to get it done on time or if I will spend too much time trying to get the app to function meanwhile getting any charges despite lack of service.

Works for a bit then stops

I really wanted to give this 5 stars but honestly don’t waste your time using the app. Stick with card if you can. First off it doesn’t tell you when the washers/dryers are in use.. Secondly doesn’t let you how much time is left on your washers/dryers. I selected to have the app notify me when my washers/dryers are done and it doesn’t do that. Lastly it seems as though when other floors are using their washers/dryers and you try to start your with your phone their is always a connection issue. Literally this morning I started my washers and one dryer and when I was trying to start the other dryer it’s a connection issue saying “unable to connect or machine not found”. I’ve been standing in the same spot just trying to start everything at once. This particular problem is an every week thing like come on. The purpose of using the app is so that I don’t have to walk downstairs to find out if someone is using the machines and so I don’t have to walk downstairs to refill a card which I had too this morning in other to finish my laundry.

Honestly we could’ve just stayed with the cards since we keep having to revert back every time the app doesn’t work.

I sent two service request this morning also.

I want my time and money back.

I’ve lived in this complex for nearly 3 months and we have this Hercules app. They don’t even give you a laundry card so the app is my only option.

The service in the laundry room is spotty but I have LTE when I go in there and it tries to start a washer or dryer (I’ve experienced this with both) and then it will say “washer/dryer could not connect, please try again” and this will go on for sometimes a whole hour attempting to start the machine. This was my biggest issue until this week.

Now, when I go to start the machine, it will say “started” and “washer/dryer cycle complete” in the same instant and not give me a refund on the 2.25 it costs to start the machine. Mind you the machine has not even turned on. Today I went to use the dryer and my account was at $2.10 so I added $10 and continued to try and use the dryer until my account was down to 85 cents. I spent and hour, and $12 and still the dryer has not turned on. In the past it would say “please wait while we refund your account” and even then it would not always refund the money. Only about half the time. I’ve probably lost at least $30 in the 3 months I’ve been here to these machines not starting.
