Chantelle from Evri is amazing!

I’m not in the habit of giving out glowing reviews, but credit where credit is due, our local to the office Evri delivery person is Chantelle and wow is she good at what she does! Her customer service skills and communication skills are undoubtedly the best I have ever experienced in this industry. I had an important delivery which was due at 8.30pm and after working a 12 hour day, I really didn’t want to stay the extra time in the office to wait for the delivery. Chantelle literally ready my mind, she called and said that as our address was an office, she assumed that no one would be there late at night, so she would redirect her route at come to me at 6pm. I was in a meeting a 6pm, so didn’t see her drop off the package, but when I came out of my meeting I realised I had a missed call from her. I called her back and she said she was was just checking in as she had dropped off the parcel. TRUE customer service and attention to detail that you don’t see very often now a days. Well done Chantelle (this lady deserves an award and a pay rise!) well done Evri!!!!

Joke of a company!

I was supposed to receive my ‘next day delivery’ parcel on Wednesday with stuff I needed for my holiday, leaving on Saturday. I got an email that I need to take actions as the courier ‘could find my address’. I then trying to contact you in the hopes that the parcel will be delivered on Thursday - nothing. Friday comes - nothing. I have instructions by recording a voice note and also sent multiple messages to you ‘live’ chat which is anything but live as I only get to speak to a chat bot. I’ve given clear instructions with which a 2 year old would find the address and I’ve also provided my phone number and said the driver can call me when there. According to the chat, someone was going to look into this and get back within 24 hours. It’s been more than that - still nothing. I’ve tried so many times to ask to speak to an advisor using both the chat and the telephone number with no luck. How can you work with people and offer any kind of service without giving your customers a chance to contact you??? I then, being desperate as I’m going away tomorrow, decided to go their local depot with the hopes that I can just speak to an actual person. Google says it’s open until 8pm, I got there at 7pm. Closed. I then had to pay for a taxi home as the depot was so far away from and my holiday is ruined already before it even started. It’s disgusting and I can’t believe that after so many other negative reviews no action is taken. I’m fuming!

Appalling customer service & communication

Well, where to start. Having lived in my property for 3 years, I’ve had many deliveries made via a wide variety of parcel services. On this occasion, it’s taken Hermes “5” days from the first delivery date provided to actually manage to deliver my parcel. First two days, 2 different time slots provided, 3rd day no attempt or time slot, fourth day, out for delivery with no time slot and eventually on the 5th day out for delivery and a time slot provided after 11am with parcel arriving around 1pm. On each failed delivery the excuse was “no access “ with a GPS image of a map in completely the wrong area, even with the correct 3meter square grid “what3words” location provided. No human interaction provided and no apology given. 4 days of my holiday wasted with deposit lost, all because of waiting around for Hermes to actually deliver my parcel. Should be ashamed. Provide clients with a telephone number where they can actually speak to a human being, not a repetitive automated answering system which cannot and does not resolve the issues. Your current system goes round in circles without dealing with any situation. Your app also has no relevant information to resolve any delivery issues. Currently, I can see nothing about your website or general contact information that enables any recipients to be able to resolve any supposed issues that you have with delivery to their delivery address.
