Idea: plug these into an easy SPM (like my SPR) to get an overall production while players are on or off?

OSPR (Offensive Simple Player Rating)=
(PTS - FGmade - TO + 0.5 x (ORB + AST - FGmissed - FTA)) x 100/Possessions Played - 6.5

DSPR (Defensive Simple Player Rating)=
(1.3xSteals - 0.1xMissedFG + 0.2xDRB + 0.5xBLK)x100/Possessions Played - 3

Of course, this ignores the fact that SPM is better at explaining the future than the past, but it is a worthwhile endeavor

I can easily add any metric that combines the stats currently on the site. Maybe I'll create another tap called "Metrics", and people can suggest metrics to add. Your SPR and maybe Daniel's seem like possibilities. Maybe PER as well, although that involves calculating a bunch of league averages.

BTW, are people still getting that ERRCON message?

@Evan

I suggested SPR because it probably works best in small sample sizes, since it doesn't use any percentages. But your idea sounds more fun!

I don't think ASPM would work easily, due to the team adjustment. Also, it requires advanced stats like ORB%, TS%, and TO%.

Those are in there already, unless I'm misunderstanding something.

Ha! You've added a bunch more stats since I last looked. Looks good!

The team adjustment could still be rather difficult... but if you pulled it off it would be amazing.

Been a while since I've updated this thread, but nbawowy has had a lot of updates since then. Check it out.

Does NBA WOWY show team pace or minutes? All I can find is possessions, but I'd like to use this tool to see how team pace changes with different player combinations on the floor.

I'm making a pretty big change to the codebase, and that is something I'm planning to add. A lot of other cool stuff too. Stay tuned. :D

Looking forward to the update. Would it be possible to add a filter for scoring margin at some point? Like "within X points"?
