Joanne Murphy from Ballincollig has been a Voluntary Community Activist and Disability Rights Advocate for nearly 20 years.
A mother of four and a grandmother to three, Joanne is acutely aware of the issues facing families. As someone who lives with reduced vision, Joanne has been active in advocating on local issues including improved access to the local Bus Stop and improvements to Road Crossings and Pavements.
Joanne has spoken before the Oireachtas Committee on Transport on the issue of E-Scooters and the risks they pose to people with disabilities and the general public.
