WoF Recap: December 12, 2023

In the last episode, fate did unfold. An abysmal episode, its tale retold.

Yet amidst the din, Chaun and Kristy shone bright, their match a glimmer in the dimming night.

Kristy claimed the Prize Puzzle’s flight, a victory and a traveler’s delight.

Though shadows loomed, their spirit did not slip. In that show, their moment found its grip.

MY RATING: 5.5
MY GRADE: E

In spins and rounds of fortune’s sway, Rob’s triumph shone, a bright array.

Despite the BR’s elusive prize, his skill and wit won hearts and eyes.

The Triple Tossup’s triumph, a sweeping spree, his victory declared, all-cash decree.

This show, a tale of triumph so vast, Robs win was a glory that forever will last.

We’re so glad that the PP winner didnt make it to BR as we had another close contest, because Rob just got a skill of a triple Tossup sweep and that was only just half the battle, but did a QUART OF reprise again?

Not many times where QUART OF was a trick in the bonusland:
Jan 21, 2022- QUART OF GOAT MILK
Oct 16, 2020- QUART OF WHOLE MILK (contestant say ON)
Sep 11, 2019- QUART OF SOY MILK
Sep 21, 2018- QUART OF ALMOND MILK (someone failed with CHART)
May 16, 2018- QUART OF JUICE (Solved and reprised, mentioned by Nick)
Apr 1, 2013- QUART OF PAINT (the only known non-F&D)

Nick, the dialogue exchange for Rob losing $40K was:
Rob: “Eh, it’s not that much”
Pat: “…Wow! Can I borrow it?”
      LMAO Santa joke! 🤣😂

Interesting. Triple Toss-Up up sweep proven to be a game winner. The BR lost was nearly solved if only he called a J.

Rob was a hoot, and his comeback was exciting, but I’m surprised he blanked on JUICE.

Nice comeback by Rob thanks to that Triple Toss-Up sweep to steal the victory from Gishma by $547, but I’m kind of surprised he blanked on JUICE in the BR, which I had with RSTLNE.

Rob made a nice comeback thanks to the triple toss-up sweep, and the speed-up round, but I thought he was gonna get the bonus round puzzle, after picking some decent letters.

Toss-Up #2: Gishma, what in the world were you thinking with that PATHETIC guess?! -___- And worst of all, she went viral: https://nypost.com/2023/12/14/entertainment/wheel-of-fortune-contestant-mocked-for-worst-guess-ever-say-it-again/

I wasn’t feeling confident about her chances of winning after that epic fail, and she proved me correct because Rob made a nice comeback beginning in the Triple Toss-Up portion.

BR: I definitely remember this being used in late S35 and solved by my fellow Houstonian Stephen Larson. I’m also kinda surprised that JUICE didn’t come to Rob’s mind after getting QUART.

    My Rating: 6
