It came 2 to the box, with fully charged batteries included, and charging cords. NOTE:when installing the batteries the tube holding the batteries needs to be installed with them.
They feel well made, metal, says they are waterproof but haven't tried that yet.
A nice feature is that when you turn on the light a battery life /remaining charge indicator pops up.
This flashlight is amazingly white light bright!!! With a super focused to ultra wide beam of light that lights a path more then 2.5 city blocks (that was how for i could see but it light up further). It has 5 settings; high-med-low setting followed by a disoreninting strob light and a repeating SOS signal.
It's advertised to have a 24hr run time. I wanted to test this. So I set it on low, in the house and although it didn't make it the 24hrs it did have bright usable light for about 7 hrs and "night light" bright for close to 2 additonal hrs.
SUMMARY: 2 well made SUPER bright, 5 function, realistic run time of 7hrs, rechargeable batteries included for close to $10 per flashlight is AMAZING.
