SO CLOSE - 4.5 stars to loving it- overview and improvement suggestions
I only just received it yesterday. This will be my first observations and probably some suggestions for the manufacturer - perhaps ideas to consider for their next version.Pros:1) Color palette- thought it was a little off until I put it next to a uniform and re-realized that Multicam is random - sometimes darker and sometimes lighter... I also think the material itself being a canvas type that is a tad - different- I think it's the reflectivity of light off the surface.2) Materials - feels like very good quality - zippers- seem large and solid - I used some pliers to pinch down the zipper so it is more secure. They are similar to ones on issued items. The inside of the main pockets are lined adding to the water resistance of the material- still wouldn't hurt to spray it down with Camp Dry.3) Hydration Bladder - by far the single least impressive part. I cannot vouch for its toughness, but, I would be reluctant to trust it - I'll certainly be replacing it with one from Camelback. For now, it's a start and better than nothing. I put water into it and it has not leaked. There are two plastic clips to latch onto the bag (One of my suggestions for improvement here - later)so, all-in-all, I really like the space, the straps, the materials and colors... all the things you would hope and expect to be on here are- ALMOST -With that, there are a couple things that I didn't particularly like... suggestions to the mfgr.Cons:1) The shock cord is nice, but they kind of impede the operations and access of the zippers pouches. Perhaps I would change my mind if I needed to stow a wet weather top temporarily.2) The waist and mid-point synching straps - first, we have enough things wrapped around us so I almost NEVER use that on other things... but it's ok- except- in most other things that have this, have a small access point to tuck them away. There are also no elastic bands to tie down excess strap length. I just rolled it up and duct taped it to the base of the shoulder straps. Second, the mid (side-rear) synching straps - they also get in the way of the pouch access. The primary mesh pouch's top is secured by a buckled strap. I would've preferred to also have buckles on those side straps as well... again- not a deal breaker.3) the bladder attachment points - the plastic clips that secure the bladder, they are attached via a cheap, thin elastic strap - not a material looped one as it should be sewn in (like the Camelback ones). These straps do not look like the will last w/o stretching and give way.4) Last observation – as stated in the video – I noticed that the rear pouch – its material must’ve been put on the machine (or some Chinese sweatshop sewing table) with the wrong orientation. Multicam has a typical pattern of mostly horizontal markings – this is definitely vertical. That’s ok though, as the new army uniform- a multicam type- only lighter (color matching this even better) is supposed to have a more vertical color pattern.* In addition to making the clips attachment straps sewn looped so it will last, but - being that eventually ALL bladders give out, this bag should have both a center and two outer mounting hooks for a bladder - perhaps, I'll break out the sewing kit. Conclusion: I REALLY like this bag and am close to loving it. Attached are some pics and video I made with a quick video I made showing a possible pack/typical usage - while at the range or out in the field but not loaded down. I hope this was fairly thorough and helpful as I searched and searched for decent hydration pack that I can have just enough room to make it viable without paying a ton. I think this is what I was looking for!Video: I show contents:Tiny front pocket: phone, snack, ear plugs, and a few pills for allergy/sinus headache I've got right now (LOL)... it never hurts to have that on a range day.Front main closed pocket: a write-in-the-rain binder with SuperGTA protractor, pen and mechanical pencil,First mesh pouch - had a notebook probably wouldn't put there- just wanted to show the sizeMain rear mesh sections: large enough to hold my MS Surface and secure it with the buckled strap.Main storage compartment: sun/pro glasses, gloves, headlamp, flatly folded wet weather top, a FULL MRE and of course, the bladder.

I was looking for a hydration pack that would be great for long hikes, had plenty of storage for a few survival essentials and not be bulky for Oregon trails hikes. It also needed to be lightweight so that I will be able to run with it for my longer runs and not have it wearing me down. I am glad I find this hydration pack, the size, the weight, the look were just a perfect fit, and the price was darn good.

The pack has a few zippered pockets the biggest used for the hydration bladder and it has a Velcro strap to hold the bladder in place. There are also two openings near the top at the start of the shoulder straps for the bladder tube to reach through. The zippered pocket is just a normal storage pocket. You can put your workout clothes, food, and electronics; just about anything, The last pocket is bigger than the smallest pocket and it can be used to keep you cell phone or small electronics in place. Pretty compact and efficient design to pack all the essentials into the bag..

The back of the pack has a sturdy thin layer of foam pads that run down along the pack. They are covered in breathable material in the form of net type structure. The shoulder straps are really thin and have thin foam with comfortable surface area to allow breath room. Very comfortable. I have gone through and observed the stitching on this pack and I can safely say it is really well done. The stitches are barely visible. It is actually very clean cut .

In short, This little pack is a winner, best bang for the buck, comfortable, practical, essential yet slick design. Worth every penny paid for

I am very impressed with the quality of this pack for the price. After a couple weeks of researching generic hydration packs online, I finally landed on the G4Free hydration pack.

I took this pack on a week long hiking trip through the Colorado mountains, and this pack served me well. The 3 liter capacity bladder was perfect for my 8 hour hike up Mount Elbert. The multiple storage pockets allowed plenty of space to store snacks, extra water, tools, and my rain poncho, but while still allowing a nice compact and lightweight pack. The bungees and adjustable straps are great for quickly accessing and securing items on the go.

The bladder also works well. There are hooks in the pack that secure the top of the bladder to keep it from folding over at low capacity. The screw top lid is large enough to allow the badder to easily be filled, and I haven't had any problems with leaking. The bite valve on the water tube took me a while to figure out, but it works well and keeps water sealed in.

The pack held up well on the trip, and I am very happy with this purchase. I would recommend to anybody looking fro an affordable hydration pack.

I was looking for a hydration pack for a trip and saw some reviews on this one that mentioned Disney. This was my family's first trip to Disney so we had a checklist of stuff we found online that is useful to bring. We bought the 2.5-liter hydration pack and it worked out well. It has a few pockets to put other stuff where I had 2 umbrellas and some handheld fans. Very easy to get the water bag out. I would fill it up at night with water and leave it in the fridge till morning right before we went to the parks. Most of the days, we drank all of it plus we had some water bottles. Even though we drank all of it, I think any bigger water bag would maybe weigh the bag down too much if you are carrying it all day. The water stayed pretty cool even till later in the day when we had been at the park all day. It's also an easy bag for security to search (At Disney World, they search all bags before you go into the theme parks).

It’s very comfortable for walking or hikes it’s not super massive but has lots of storage in addition to its water capacity.

Very good products. The water bags are also very useful. I'm very fond of his family's products. The cloth is also good, the delivery is very fast, I am glad to carry it out after receiving, must give the five-star praise.

As discribed, using it for festivals and runs . Decent sized compartments , feels sturdy ... mouth tip is garbage does not Stay on, water doesn't come out of it when placed back on, water still flows and stops with the lock .

Received product on time. Looks like really great quality. We bought this for our 7 year old for a hiking backpack. Not sure what kind of quality the hydration pack is as we haven't tried it out.
