The PX20 dual color led flashlight combines five super bright white LEDs with one red LED, each color controlled with its own switch. The white light is for general flashlight use, while the red LED is perfect when you only need minimal light, such as when reading a map. This is a great little flashlight. I keep one by my bed. The red color is perfect for getting up in the middle of the night and not being blinded.

It's easy to find the red button by knowing where it is relative to the pocket clip. I move the clip so that when it's against my finger tips the red button is under my thumb.

Lots of LED flashlights have problems with the buttons failing, but Coast seems to have solved this problem. I have two Coast headlights as well and all buttons work well.

There is a minor problem with the battery holder: one of the spiral springs that connects from one battery to the other isn't well secured to the holder and can come loose, causing a poor connection. Mine actually fell out when I went to change batteries and it took me quite a while to figure out how to put it back in position. While a problem, it's not enough to knock a star off of my rating.

However, after a week or so of use the white light dims and brightens and dims and brightens. You can get it to shine brightly by smacking the light hard against your leg or a surface. I thought that the contacts might be worn but no amount of cleaning fixes the problem. If you put in new batteries it works great for about a week and the problem starts again. I have owned five or six of these and they all have the same problem. But, I care more about the night vision and the red light does not have the bright/dim problem.

1st, I had 2 G45 Coast flashlights since 2008 when they 1st came out (16 years they lasted, and 1 still works intermittenly). I am just now replacing them with this newer Px version.
This px version is almost the same except the px has much brighter led's, and they are bright white leds (6000k sunlight? ) instead of the old blue led's.
Even the Red light is way better than the old was.
Easy to press button, that wont press accidentally in jeans or lunchbox.
Waterproof o-rings.
Handy belt/pocket clip.
Aluminum body and caps.
I am even using the same AAA rechargeable batteries (2 anyway) from 2008/9, so I know that the batteries dont drain in the flashlight when it is not being used much.

The only cons I can think of is that these Px versions dont come with a lanyard, and trying to get an old or new lanyard is too tight for me to get on in the new px, and the rechargeable batteries are a smidge larger than regular batteries, and are a bit difficult to remove from the cage (but the same is true for any flashlight with aa or aaa cages, so not a negative, just stating that in case it can be a neg to someone. Also, use a plastic card or similar when removing batteries that are too tight or risk breaking the battery open. I use a plastic plaster knife I have).
I also have a Coast D-cell's flashlight that I got at the same time I got the old g-series flashlights, and it is doing just fine in all these 16 years, so I know how durable Coast flashlights are (well, except for the pen light I got for free when I got the 3-D-cell-flashlight. That pen light didnt last a year, but it was a free light).

Definitely reccomend Coast flashlights.
Here is to another 16 years not having to buy a flashlight again.

There are two buttons on the light, one for the white and one for the red led, that are on opposite sides of the barrel. In the dark it’s hard to tell which one is for which even though the one is slightly textured. I found rotating the belt clip so that it covers most of the white led button, which I use the least, works really well. I really dislike flashlights with multiple modes, other than maybe a high and low. I have no use for strobe and SOS and I don’t want to cycle through this BS. This light just has the on/off function which is perfect.
