I bought this insert to go with the other down alternative throw pillows for my bed, and this one was a bit of a disappointment (small grey lumbar pillow in front). While it’s very soft and squishy, it doesn’t give the feel of a true down pillow insert. It feels more like standard cotton. Provides decent support, and is a good quality for the price. Just wasn’t exactly what I was hoping for.

I actually added a star because I feel like this pillow is pretty spot on in relation to its price. It has more of a limp feel which is what I prefer for couch pillows.

The packaging however was kind of sketchy. It just showed up in a grey bag. There was no additional covering within the package. There wasn’t even a(n) receipt/invoice that would typically come with an online purchase. Just a pillow in a bag.

I’m not sure if its just me but that feels a bit dirty considering I’ve received plenty of bedding and pillows from Amazon that arrived with more sanitary looking packing. I’ve also grown accustomed to cute packaging and sellers that make their product feel like a gift. Maybe I just need to ease up on the Instagram unboxing reels.

For the garbage packing job, it came with zero stains or funky smells which is another reason I kept it at 4 stars.

Despite the minor complaining in this review, I’d encourage others to purchase the pillow. Its soft and has decent fill.

I don’t often write reviews. But this one had me mystified. Based on the portfolio of Reviews which I carefully looked over - I expected a ‘full’ pillow insert. For context - I was even sure to order the 20x20 pillow for a 18x18 case.
The pics I’ve uploaded speak for themselves. The outcome is not a ‘stuffed’/ full pillow look. In fact, the original cheap stuffing that came with the pillow has more ‘umph’ than this purchase.

If you’re looking for a lightly filled pillow that is soft as could be which you can practically bend in half: then this is your option.

If not - DO NOT BUY.
