Dilute with clean, ambient water. Apply solution and leave on surface 1-2 minutes. Heavy soil or grease may require scrubbing. Wipe or rinse off. Blot dry. Repeat if needed. For heavy soils like thick grease, oil, carbons & soot, baked-on soils, and tough soils lodged in porous surfaces: Mix 1 part Simple Green to l to 10 parts water. For medium soils like grease & oils, most metal working fluids, hydraulic fluids, dirt, grime, and food residue: Mix 1 part Simple Green to 10-30 parts water. For light soils like dusts, particulates, and very light oils: Mix 1 part Simple Green to 30+ parts water. I bought this degreaser to use as an economical way to help me clean my bicycle's gears and chain. I applied it using one of those inexpensive mechanical chain washer gadgets as well as directly using brushes. The grease and oil just washed away like magic. I followed the degreasing up with dish soap and water, dried everything, then lubed with bike chain oil. Gears are shiny, shifting and cycling is smooth and quiet.

Well done, Simple Green!

I intend to fill a spray bottle with this stuff for more general cleaning as well, but I haven't tried that yet.

I watched a video where 2 guys used various fluids in jars and put hard dried paint brushes in overnight. This stuff melted the paint off. Not tried it yet, but have spare spray bottles and put it in neat. Smells slightly of old fashioned traditional fairy liquid.
