    A Precision Pen for Your Thoughts?
    As a typical American that with a workshop and garage, I use WD-40 on the regular. Not only is it a great lubricant for everything that squeaks, rattles, or clanks, but I’m at the point that I use it as a cologne and condiment.When I saw these precision pens, I knew I had to give them a try. I recently started using the gel cans to try and minimize runs and stains, particularly when lubricating hinges and vises, but there was still a lot of overspray. No more with these pens. They’re perfect for small jobs where just a bit of lubricant is needed.Because they have a felt tip like marker, they are much better than a drip or needle bottle for precise applications. The activate just like a paint-pen, as you must depress the tip a few times for the lubricant to flow, and you keep the tip depressed for a continuous flow; this only works well with the pen tip angled downward. Penetration will be minimized, though, as a result of the small size of the tip, but these are designed for smaller applications where deeper penetration of the lubricant is not warranted.How long do they last? That remains to be seen, but these are perfect for tool bags, tool cases, pockets, glove compartments, and other small spaces where a can would be too much. It’s also nice that these are not pressurized, so if left in a hot car, there isn’t the fear of unwanted dispersion.

    I bought some years ago and I’ve used them in my work, keeping my rotary tools nice and easy to use. I gave my husband one (he worked for a utility company) and he was really impressed with the pen could do with such a nice applicator. Nice and precise with out an over spray. I also have a large dumpster for my business and sometimes in the winter, the lock freezes up, so I always one in my pocket when I would take trash out in the winter. One day I caught the garbage trucks d the driver having problems with it. I said hold on, ran back inside and came out with one of the pens. Presto! No problem at all. He was so impressed that I gave him mine to make his life easier. The. My last one ran out and I didn’t find the, for years. Needless to say, I’m so grateful I found these on Amazon. I also gave one to my contractor friend who was grateful for the gift too. You need to get these!

    We all know that WD-40 is good for just about everything that's stuck. We all also know that the traditional can with the little straw thing is a joke. With or without the straw, the stuff makes a total mess.
    If you simply spray it, it goes everywhere.
    And, it smells bad.

    These little pens are The Bomb. I had to lubricate the tiny little screws in a window (stuck open, of course) and needed to reach into all sorts of nooks and crannies. This thing was the best. It was easy to use--it's a sort of dab-motion to get the product going--and reached into everywhere. Further, it gave just the right "dose" to unstick each screw without causing the entire mechanism to be covered in oil.

    Don't laugh, but I'm going to give these as a little gift to the one guy friend I have who is an incurable fix-everything-dude, and one to my daughter, who is also a "fixit" fiend.

    It took me a minute to figure out how to use. It is like one of the wet markers that you need to push down on, to get the liquid flowing. For the area that I wanted to use this in, that was not a real option, so I had to get it started on another surface, and let it drip to where I needed it. The product works well when you figure out the process. I had ordered some before that were pen sized, but they were a spray. Just think about where you need to use it before ordering. Also, the price is a bit much for such a small amount.
