I just wanted to start off with this because reading people write that they are disappointed in this after a few uses is really frustrating. The real solution to healthy skin actually starts from within, STOP expecting companies tools to magically fix your problems. Rating them a 0 because your collagen production isn't up to par to the way that is used to be or even because your acne hasn't cleared as quickly as desired is silly.

I went to school for esthetics and know that normally good HF machine is hundreds and hundreds of dollars which is why the moment I saw this, I immediately purchased it.

Certain things you should know before you purchase this ( or have it ). Normally, you aren't supposed to feel anything ( it even says that in the instructions ). You hear the probe working but again, you are not really supposed to feel anything. If you do feel a zap, it's not going to kill you, you just put it up way too high ( also says that in the instructions). ALSO WHEN USING THE PROBE THERE IS A SCENT THAT COMES WITH IT, NO THE MACHINE IS NOT FAULTY, NO YOUR HAIRS ARE NOT BURNING, IT IS THE WAY IT IS SUPPOSED TO SMELL. Also, the glass IS THIN AND SENSITIVE, DON'T GRAB IT HARD OR ELSE IT WILL BREAK. Always grab the probe by the body and pull straight up. Don't grab it by the head and wiggle it because it will break.

This is my favorite way to kill all the bacteria underneath my skin, help with my dark circles ( I will write how I do that below ) and keep my skin nice and healthy.

Anyways....

NuDerma, I am sorry you had some people use this the wrong way and maybe lost some customers due to ratings. I think this product is incredible, very high quality and you will forever have a loyal customer.

----- If you are still reading and are curious how this helps my dark circles, I use the thin prob and circle it counterclockwise AROUND my eyes as it stimulates the blood flow. Do not put this on your eyelid ( not sure why you would ) circle it right below the eyebrow and below your eye.

I’m excited to use this and see how this helps my smile lines and wrinkles. I’ve used it twice so far and can already feel my skin tighter. I’d recommend getting a serum if you don’t already have it. I tried it on my boyfriend too before bed and the next morning his face looked brighter and he said it felt tighter too. Directions say to use it no more than 2 minutes twice a week so I’ll give it time. Other than the device being larger than I thought I can only think of good things.

I'm actually pleasantly surprised. I did not have any expectations. I've used it only for a week but my skin is definitely clearer, dark spots are lightened, pores are smaller, old acne scars have diminished. I don't know if this trajectory will continue or plateau, or may be just temporary, but for now, I am very happy with it. The only complain I have is that the product is very bulky. It takes up a lot of room in my bathroom. Of course this could be a very ignorant thought since I don't know anything about this technology, but the wand and the glass tubes all seem unnecessarily big.

I noticed that the last one has a ground electrical addition to the connection. I guess it is a security issue. The intensity of the radiation in this last model was to weak. Sadly I returned it after one use. It is a great product but I like the stronger version.

I am writing this review after only using it two times so I may lower my rating later but so far I’m pleasantly surprised. I wasn’t expecting this to work right away but I did notice a subtle tightening and smoothing feel to my face right away. But what really surprised me was what it did for my hair! I tried the comb attachment thinking it could promote faster and thicker hair growth eventually but was surprised how it affected my hair immediately! It was a rainy day and my hair gets frizzy from humidity but when I brushed the comb attachment through my hair, immediately I saw it turn smooth and glossy, taking away all the frizz! It seemed to smooth even my hair ends (that need to be trimmed.)

I read some reviews that said there were no instructions but mine came with several sheets of instructions and warnings about use with metal or pacemakers, etc… so not sure why theirs didn’t come with instructions.

Mine did not come with any hyaluronic acid that someone said came with theirs though so I just used it with Trader Joe’s hyaluronic acid with aloe and it worked great. Right now it’s too soon really to tell completely how effective it is on skin but I’m loving what it does for my hair instantly on contact. I’m excited to see what it will do for my skin in a month or two of using it and will update my review then. I’m not using it for acne but purely for anti-aging which can take a while for skin turnover.
