How many Click and Grow plants are there? Are they all ok for Smart Garden 3?

Over the years we have tested more than 18,000 plant varieties to maximise user simplicity. Today we offer 70+ plant pods: herbs, salads to fruits, flowers and vegetables, compatible with all Click and Grow Smart Gardens

How long does it take for Click and Grow to sprout?

Majority of Click & Grow plants sprout between 1-2 weeks. Mini tomato, chili pepper and rosemary take up to 3 weeks to sprout. You can find detailed plant care and lifespan information for every plant in Click and Grow app.

How hard is it to keep Click and Grow plants alive?

It is easy! Unlike most hydroponic systems, Click and Grow doesn't require adding nutrient solution to keep plants alive. Patented Smart Soil gradually releases all the nutrients your plants need to thrive, stabilising pH and oxygen level of roots

How loud is Click and Grow?

The watering system is passive and works via capillary action, which makes for a completely silent indoor grow kit. It doesn't have an electric pump and is completely noise-free.

How often do you need to add water in click and grow?

On average, a full water tank can last for 2-3 weeks, depending on the plant type and growing stage. Young plants naturally take up less water. As your plants begin to mature, you may notice you have to fill your water tank more regularly

this is an AWESOME way to kickstart your herb garden!! makes growing plans in my city apartment easy. the unit is fairly self sufficient aside from adding plant food or water every 2 weeks ish. these grow plants that are hearty and transfer well to their own soil once they outgrow the unit. the light does stay on overnight at times, so consider placing not in the bedroom like i first did... easy to order new plant variety pods too once you want to switch it out! the packaging comes with cool fun facts and is easy to learn due to minimal instructions. if you want a quirky gift for your friend who is a green thumb or good cook-- get it!

This was the perfect Christmas gift for one of my loved ones. It's really easy to use and comes with detailed instructions. This kit came with basil and it grew surprisingly quick. It has a really high quality grow light and actually looks cute in the kitchen. The grow light can go taller as your plant grows. Their website also has more herbs to buy from. Definitely worth the money especially if you're always killing the herb plants from the grocery store.

I like that it’s very easy to grow plants.. just add water.. and it is a very nice piece. I turned it on at 430 in the afternoon so that I have a light on inside the living area during nighttime that serves as night light, coz it is bright. I didn’t give a 5-star rating coz as shown in the picture, it seems that the light bar is TOO SHORT.. the plant in the farther end seems like it’s not getting enough light at the other 2. I think it might be bette if they extended the light bar further so all 3 pods are equally receiving same amount of light.

I love this product I got it for my mom as a Christmas gift and she has shown me all of the plants she’s growing and they have grown so fast! We do not have a green thumb in our family lol but she loves growing plants so to see her be able to with the help of this is awesome! I definitely will buy more.

This has been the best purchase I've had! We were able to have fresh herbs all winter. I would say the length of life of the basil, sage, and parsley are definitely longer than what is outlined in the kit. With proper care, and weekly use of the herbs, you can have your plants for MUCH longer. Planted 151 days ago (at time of writing this review) and are still getting fresh herbs from our pods. The app is also amazing, and really helpful for growing herbs or plants you haven't done before.

We've decided to stick with our Click and Grow rather than planting basil and parsley outside this summer. We'll be using that area of the garden for something else.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Edit: It's now June 2021 and the pods were planted in November 2020. They have finally died. We were able to enjoy fresh sage, basil, and Italian parsley the entire winter and spring.

My basil, romaine lettuce and strawberries are still in the two leaf stage but all looks good. Very easy to set up and operate. Simple place seed container in pocket, add water and plug in. The first shoots appeared in about 7 days. I look forward to the end result and will add comments at that time. Sometimes devices start off well and then fizzle out.

Love this, it's literally just assemble and forget about it! The pods included were for basil and they started growing within a couple of weeks of set up. I also ordered Holy Basil that started growing around the same time. I'm currently waiting on the experimental pod to sprout but that may be a seed issue more than a product issue and that can't be blamed on this product. Definitely recommend it as a gift for a plant lover in your life or as a treat for yourself if you're looking for a quick and easy way to bring some greenery or healthier choices into your life!

This is a well built product that looks great in any space. The product should not be considered a 'smart' product - the light is on a 16 hour timer and that's it. No ability to adjust the timer or monitor anything about the planter. The lights are very bright and a harsh white colour and are not visually attractive in the dark. We moved ours to a spare bedroom to avoid the light pollution. You can extend the life of the pods and plants that come with the planter by adding a few drops of liquid fertilizer to the water reservoir when refilling water. Also, there is no need to buy the plant refill pods. Just pack the plastic cup with peat moss or potting soil and sew your own seeds. Be sure to fertilize your DIY pods with liquid fertilizer in the water too. Overall an interesting product, but certainly nothing ground breaking or smart.
