We needed an emergency 1st aid kit for road trips and so on. We wanted an all in one, includes everything in it kit that we could toss in the backseat or throw in a backpack. It had to be sturdy enough not to crush and easily found.
Well, this fit all the requirements. It opens either way so it hold more variety and that's both good and bad. It has a bit of everything but not a lot of anything. It's perfect for a road trip, but make sure you have stuff to refill when you get home.
All in all, I feel safer with it than without. That alone makes it worth it. But when you need it, you really realize how worth it, it truly is.
I would recommend, seriously get this. It's a great value, it's perfect for around the house or shop... and great for traveling. Nice and sturdy.

Nice Travel Sized Kit with Room For More!
After reading several reviews I can see there has been some product changes. One of them being a whistle that was previously included and is no longer apart of the kit. One of the most important items for the survival section of the kit would have been a whistle so I'm unsure why that was removed. The fishing kit is a bit of a reach, replace it with a whistle and para cord bracelet with compass. The thing I like about this kit is Unlike the kit I had to return, there is actually room to store additional items. I bought some small Triple antibiotic packets, Burn gels, and added a cold pack from my home First Aid Kit. Everything fits. I also added an eye gauze pad. It's also missing those small packs of Aspirin and Ibuprofen which I will be adding and can be critical. Other than that, I'm pleased. I do have a concern however. The seams at the very bottom of the case seem to be showing so I'm hoping that they do not separate anytime soon.
