Euro 2024 Player of the Tournament odds: Lamine Yamal surges as lone favorite

The UEFA Euro 2024 tournament on FOX and the FOX Sports app has been must-watch TV so far! And as the tournament winds down, bettors still have several ways to get in on the action, including which star will emerge as the Player of the Tournament (POT).

So, which star player will win the prestigious award?

Currently, Spain's phenom Lamine Yamal is the favorite to be named the tourney's best player at +185.

Before Yamal scored his electric goal against France on Tuesday, his odds of winning POT sat at +600, so it was a considerable jump up the betting board.

Yamal's teammate Rodri Hernandez is currently behind him on the betting board to win the award, at +470.

There are only a handful of days before one team is crowned champion, so let's take a look at the latest odds at FanDuel Sportsbook:

UEFA Player of the Tournament: *

Lamine Yamal, Spain: +185 (bet $10 to win $28.50 total)
Rodri Hernandez, Spain: +470 (bet $10 to win $57 total)

RELATED: Comparing a 16-year-old to Pelé and Messi is ridiculous — unless it's Lamine Yamal

The 16-year-old phenom has been the focal point of Spain's offensive attack, and he made history as the youngest goalscorer in Euros history as Spain took down France on Tuesday. Outside of scoring goals, Yamal has also been setting up his teammates, as his three assists leads the tournament.

Fun note: Yamal would be the youngest player in history to win the Player of the Tournament award.
