About this item

  • INCREDIBLE SUCTION AND SONIC MOPPING: First, it’s an ultra-powerful whole home vacuum on carpets and hard floors that self-empties its dustbin. Second, it’s an ultra-powerful vacuum that picks ups dry debris and sonic mops hard floors at the same time.
  • NO SPOTS MISSED: With Matrix Clean, the robotic vacuum cleans using a precision matrix grid taking multiple passes over dirt and debris delivering 30% better carpet cleaning*(*vs. RV2610WD single pass tested on level loop sand).
  • CLEANS EDGES & CORNERS: CleanEdge Detect uses blasts of air and corner recognition to remove debris from edges and corners pulling the debris into the cleaning path for 50% better edge cleaning* (*vs RV2600 with CleanEdge turned off).
  • HEPA FILTRATION & ANTI ALLERGEN SEAL: True HEPA filtration captures and traps 99.97%* of dust and allergens (*down to .3 microns) in the base.
  • IT EMPTIES & CHARGES ITSELF: Holds up to 60 days of dirt and debris. The bagless base doesn’t require additional purchase of disposal bags. With Recharge & Resume, when low on battery, the robot automatically will recharge and pick up where it left off.
  • TACKLE STUCK ON STAINS: Sonic Mopping scrubs hard floors 100x per minute and for extra deep cleaning initiate Matrix Mop in the app to get 50% better stain cleaning in targeted zones (vs. RV2001WD, modified IEC 62885-6).
  • SELF-CLEANING BRUSHROLL: Digs deep into carpets and directly engages hardwood floors pulling up debris, hair, and dirt from all surfaces in your home – engineered to pick up more hair and is anti-hair wrap.

Product Description

The Shark Matrix Plus 2-in-1 Robot combines an ultra-powerful vacuum with Sonic Mopping for a complete clean from start to finish. First, it’s an ultra-powerful whole home vacuum on carpets and floors that empties its own dustbin. Second, it’s an ultra-powerful vacuum that sonic mops hard floors at the same time. No cleaning detail is unmet with this robot’s corner and edge cleaning, self-cleaning brushroll for pet hair, and HEPA filtration trapping 99.97% of dust and allergens into the bagless base. With Precision Home Mapping, the robot uses its 360 LIDAR vision to scan your home and build a detailed map, enabling fully autonomous movement. This also allows your robotic vacuum to detect and avoid objects in its path day or night. It creates a precise home map in the SharkClean app so you can select specific areas to clean on-demand, initiate Matrix Clean, and set cleaning schedules from anywhere. Utilize the app to set custom carpet and no-go zones for complete control of where the robot cleans and doesn’t clean. This robot masterfully integrates Matrix Clean with vacuuming, mopping, CleanEdge, and self-emptying to give you the ultimate floor cleaning machine.

I purposely did not write a review for this immediately after receiving it. I think those reviews really do not tell you the full picture because everyone is excited and then they rant and rave about it, not knowing that it should run through its paces beforehand. As of today, it’s been approximately nine months since I’ve had this machine. In fact-it is running right now as we speak. So, if you were expecting this machine to clean everything in your house, well, it won’t. However, if you put it at the setting of an average clean, it will pick up the dust and everything else in between in the common traveled areas. If you place it on matrix clean, you will run the battery down and it will take a couple of sessions in order for it to clean your entire place based on the square footage of your home. One recommendation is to make sure every week you dump out the container or the collecting bin. Also, when you do, make sure you inspect what it has picked up when dumping!!! I had found that it my wife’s missing earring, a few dimes and a missing screw that I was looking for for my key fob to the car. So make sure you are looking to see What the vacuum shot into its collecting bin. Also, in regards to hair, it will pick that up however, make sure you have a fine or small screwdriver available. The hair tends to bind up the bristle wheel that is next to its traction. If there’s any long hair, or dog hair or what not it will end up collecting there and bind up the Pick up Wheel or spindle. You will have to unscrew two small screws and gently take it apart and get that tangled weave of hair out of there. There is a ball of it binding the wheel to make it free flowing. What will happen is over time, it will not spin as well, it will drain the battery because it had to work harder when working, and then you will get errors stating that the wheel is caught up somehow. It is because of that reason you need to make sure that you do a monthly maintenance check on this vacuum. It’s just like any other robot vacuum / it can only do so much as it’s designed for. Constant preventative maintenance insures that your robot vacuum will operate properly like brand new. As in with bumping into things and so forth, it does have some hiccups where it cannot find the collection bin. You may want to make sure that the Wi-Fi is working properly in your house and also make sure that the base unit is plugged in properly. I’ve already had that happen to me a couple times because the vacuum Will sometimes pull out the cord when vacuuming around it- the cord is on the floor and then it has problems finding the charging base even when it’s right next to it….just a suggestion…The app is very friendly to use, and you can set your zones, so customization is really user-friendly- once again. Also, this machine tends to find its way quite easily through all the areas corners, nooks and crannies. It operates in the dark because of its motion sensor, and Vacuums our entire floor in one charge based on its settings. 1750 Sq feet. It notices stairs, and also one feature I do like is that it does adjust to objects that are either stationary or if you’re standing in the way. Meaning, if you’re standing in the vacuum comes up to you it will work around you. It will then turn around to do the next pass. If it sees that that object is not there, it will come back And vacuum the spot where you were standing. That’s a very cool feature in my opinion. I also noticed that it does not mess or cover open areas. They are very uniform when this robot is vacuuming.Keep in mind, this won’t do everything, but it does keep the dust down. In tight corners, this will not be able to reach due to its circular design. The main key is to perform monthly maintenance on this vacuum if you are running this one to four times a week. If you maintain that which is very simple, approx 5-10 min of time, you’ll be very pleased with this shark vacuum. I just bought another one for our downstairs because I am that impressed. Additionally, I purchased two extra batteries to make sure that this model is discontinued. I have enough prolonged extended time for this machine to keep going. This is a great investment. Good luck!

This is my first time using a robot vacuum. I went with Shark because I looove their other cleaning machines that I have owned. I'm impressed with this vacuum. It was very easy to set up using the app. After setup, the first thing you do is to let it map your home. The trick is to move items that can be moved out of its way so it can get a good map of your rooms. While its mapping a room, I move chairs out of that room to another until it's done mapping then I put them back. It does a decent job of creating a map of your home, and you can let it do it again just in case you're not pleased with its rendering. While mapping, it is not cleaning so bear that in mind. After it delivers the map to your home, you then move on to labeling each room by dragging a square over each area which tells the vacuum the boundaries of that room. This is great for if you later want to send the vacuum to clean a particular room and not the whole house.

For places where I have two rooms in one like my kitchen and dining, I separate the two rooms while labeling rooms on the map because sometimes I want only the kitchen vacuumed and not the dining room. I watch where the vacuum goes to begin its vacuuming just to check if the boundary I created in the map is where I want it. I can go in and adjust it in the map by dragging the square for that room to change it. Make sure your squares connect to the square of the adjoining room because in areas where you do not have a square covering in the map, the vacuum will not go there.

All that aside, you can opt to do a regular single-pass vacuuming or a more robust matrix vacuuming where the robot goes horizontal and vertical so every area is cleaned twice. Its suction isn't bad. I still see little things on the carpet that it misses. It does a great job with corners for its round shape. You can also take it to a spot you want it to clean instead of the whole room. You can also use the map to block out areas you do not ever want it to clean.

I have a large home and it saves me so much time keeping the floors and carpet clean. You can schedule it to vacuum whenever you like. Doing it maybe 4 times a week helps a lot and keeps debris down. Sometimes when it goes to unload the debris it gets stuck and you have to manually clear the chute and empty the canister in the garbage instead. That's not a deal breaker for me.

It's not too quiet but I don't mind it as it lets me know it is working. My dogs find it fascinating at first, they were a bit scared, but after a little while, they just ignore it as its doing its thing.

I find no real issues with this vacuum, it's electronic and may glitch at times, like going to the wrong room, but I just simply cancel it and start again and it works. I highly recommend this.

La aplicación de control funciona bien en México, hace el trabajo, pero es un poco torpe. Mi mayor decepción es descubrir que Shark no honrará la garantía en México. Me pregunto por qué lo venden aquí.

5.0 out of 5 stars Love the machine, HATE the app.

It's a great vacuum/floor cleaner. Does exactly what's it's supposed to do and does it well. The app, however, is a real waste of time. It's annoying having to always sign in, and super annoying navigating it. I don't need that much organization in my life. Appliances really don't need apps! What's next? A push broom with an app?? Would give it a 5 star if the app was easy to use, but it's just not. Not time saving, not logical and certainly not practical. It's just not. What I do think is exceptional on this machine is, the 'non tangle' brush and that the machine stops if it picks up something that will damage it. In question was a 'tack' it picked up and it shut down immediately. Love this feature. As for the floor cleaning option, it washes well, but I hate to clean any machine, so I will just use it for vacuuming as the dust bin is so easy to empty, and cleaning the washing liquid out of the washing component is not my kind of fun. Worth the $$ to me, but I should have got the model that just vacuums, and saved a few bucks.

Ótimo produto, tomara tenhamos acesso a peças tendo em vista ser importado. De longe muito superior aos similares vendidos no comércio local. Nota 10

I've had it for 2 months now and use it everyday. It was easy to setup and save a map of my house. Once you have it mapped it will go for 30 min then go empty and go for an other 30 and empty and so on till the whole house has been covered, it really doesnt miss a spot like the rooba I had before that would just bump around till the battery was dead, it would always stay in one room or get stuck under chair. That not an issue with this robot. The self empting is awesome we just empty it once a week and I have 2 large dogs, 5 & 6 year old kids. The brushes do not taggled like my old roomba and for me that was a god sent cause I literally had to clean my brushes after every go before, now I just look at it once a week and its usually pretty clean. Make sure you clean the filters atleast once a month. Good buy
