Extremely dated, nothing like advertised

I booked this room, at a higher rate than normal, due to limited availabilty for Gold Coast Marathon, but looked very impressive in the advertising. Unfortunately the reality was very different. Couch in the room would have been out of place in a shack, it was that old and damaged. Window in bedroom didn't seal properly, and I spent the first night with a "gentle breeze" blowing across my face, and curtains (small enough as is) being blown outwards, and basically redundant. Was moved for the extra 2 nights, into an adequate room, but won't be back.

We didn't have an internet connection all trip (5 days) despite being told each day we were about to have it fixed. Also, as an Accor gold card member, we were meant to get some drink vouchers and we kept being told they would be available the next day...never happened. Despite this, had a nice stay with spectacular 13th floor views!
