We have been visiting this hotel since 2002. Once again we had a relaxing and comfortable experience where all staff bent over backwards to satisfy our every needs. Staff were always cheerful and were a delight. It is difficult to single out anyone in particular, however we must give a big shout out to Barbara our maid, Ryan poolside and Ryan water-sports was exceptional. All others were equally a good model of the service expected. On the downside, there were inexcusable deficiencies, notably the seat cushions in the Palms restaurant - they were diabolical, unhygienic, stains, sunken centres etc. They should be laundered more frequently. We would not have accepted this in a 3* or 4* in England. There was also mutual embarrassment when I raised the issue with the front office that the account to which the Visa card had been used as security, had actually been debited from my account by my bank. This practice had not been made clear, and one that I had not experienced here at the Pavilion before or elsewhere in the world.

Gracious and courteous staff, from the welcome arrival with a glass of champagne Jason (front desk) and Michael (room division manager) there was nothing they could not do to make our stay and other guests more the comfortable A must is a stay including Wednesday for the Managers Cocktail (JC Martinez) to mingle and make new friends. Bar staff, dining room staff, all attentive Buffet breakfast, probably the best on the island, do not miss the Sunday Brunch Concierge/bellmen always at the arrival door to greet the guests. This was our 10th visit to the Royal Pavilion and extremely highly recommended

Bar staff, dining room staff, all attentive Buffet breakfast, probably the best on the island, do not miss the Sunday Brunch Concierge/bellmen always at the arrival door to greet the guests. This was our 10th visit to the Royal Pavilion and extremely highly recommended Much more friendly than the snooty staff from the hotel down the way
