Large Clean Rooms But Seen Better Days

The Resort is like an old-fashioned motel- you can literally park your car against the front door of the lower rooms. The rooms were very large and spotless and the heating worked well. The grounds were in need of a make-over with rusted structures and over-grown areas. The restaurant was very basic with a very limited menu catering well for families but not couples. Expensive for what was on offer. It was about a 25 minute walk to town.

Don’t use the sofa bed!

Highly recommended Parklands Resort Retreat tents. They are beautifully appointed and super comfortable. We loved our stay and are planning our next visit. Despite temperatures dropping below zero we were still extremely comfortable.
