Were in the area to look at potential wedding venues and this hotel seemed like a great place for two nights, we enjoyed the spacious room and comfy bed as well as appreciate the peaceful outlook and location that wasn't riddled with children as it is school holidays. It is also close to necessary amenities and the beach!

The resort is improving, but still has further room for improvements. We had a nice enough room but with no balcony. We noticed many balcony rooms uninhabited so I was unsure why we didn’t get one. I’m Accor Gold as well and this room was definitely not an upgrade. The amenities were just 2 small muesli bar type things, much less generous than anywhere else I’ve been. We were not permitted a late check out either when I requested it. But the staff on dining were great. Breakfast was good and dinner was nice. Although a child was loudly singing with her guitar all night. It wasn’t conducive to a nice dining atmosphere. We didn’t order dessert so we could leave, it was too much. She was cute, and a nice little singer, but not for a dining experience. I would strongly recommend electric vehicle charging capability here. Even the chance to plug into a standard power point would be fine. In the information you receive on check in, they recommend a hotel in Gerringong so I went there to charge yet they were quite upset about Mercure sending their guests to them. They tried to convince me why their hotel is so much better and gave me incentives to stay with them next time.

Stayed two nights in July 2024. Beautifully presented room, faultless service, comfortable bed, easy parking. Room service menu a bit limited in both availability and choice, and inordinately expensive, but that’s a bit reflective of the surprisingly limited dining choices in the Gerringong/Berry area of an evening.
