Room not cleaned properly & did not have study table. Poor customer service.

I am sorry that your experience did not meet your expectations; please allow me to express my sincerest apologies. I will look into your allegations, we most certainly don't' condone racist. I have also noted your concerns around breakfast wait times, we have now introduced a hot buffet breakfast since with the addition of the newly refurbished 44 rooms you are absolutely right we cannot keep up with a la carte service anymore. House keeping was hit and miss with getting a full set of towels on a daily basis. The restaurant had very little service even when it wasn't busy. Frequently I had to go to the counter to order food or request a drink.

Experience was not great staying there for the first time. The room was good, but the disappointing part was that three of us came to Australia for a business trip to meet with customers, and the hotel does not accept AMEX, which is the only card provided by our company. I have stayed in many Novotel hotels around the world, and being part of such a big chain, I expected that AMEX would be accepted. Another issue we noticed was that there was no complimentary water provided in the room, despite the high room rate. One of my colleagues bought water from the bar and we were surprised to see he was charged $14 for one bottle. I believe Novotel Suva Lami should reconsider accepting AMEX cards and also look into providing guests with complimentary water.

Novotel went above my expectations for my partners mid night birthday surprise. I had asked them a day before and they surprised me with the decor let alone my partner. The housekeeping ladies were so lovely and friendly, absolutely made our stay even better. Thank you so much.
