We spent a very nice Holiday at the Sofitel the Palm. Our waiter Han from the Minerva Team in the main restaurant was particularly attentive, friendly, sensitive and very concerned about our well-being, as He anticipated our every wish! Thank you very much again for that!

Great family hotel. But I will say the food (specifically the Indian curries which change daily) is very good indeed. The Indian Chef Gavrav uses very authentic home spicing, with plenty of curry leaf and mustard seed… making for a genuinely mouth watering curry feast. I ate a fantastic mutton Korma and equally great Rogan Josh. The waiting staff were also super attentive to our stay. Big shout out to who attended to our every need…. and his colleagues of course who were all equally lovely and helpful.

We had the most amazing time at the Sofitel on the Palm. We booked a 2 bedroomed apartment which was just fantastic, 2 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms. Huge balcony. Fridge/freezer - even a washing machine. We opted for the Half board dine around and we could not fault this at all. Breakfast was buffet style that catered for all and then the evening meal was at any of the restaurants on a dine-around menu. We swapped some of the evening meals and had lunch instead which in some of the restaurants they gave us credit to use. The food was fabulous - I would say Zoya was our favorite and the staff we adored. Everywhere was spotless and the house keeping is just amazing - I have worked in travel over 30 years and travelled the world and have to say this is one of the best hotels we have stayed in for all the above reasons. The one thing if i could suggest is that there is more on an evening as we found ourselves going onto other hotels and to JBR as nothing to do really on a nighttime after your meal. The staff here can not do enough for you. Thank you and just a note - Uprade us normal full paying guests rather than instagram gifted guests as i have already booked 4 people when home!
