Everything went well. No complaints. They were able to upgrade our room for free. Breakfast is good. Lot of items to try. They also allowed some items to take home to eat later. I wish we had beach view room. Maybe we will try next time. The hotel is right opposite the beach. It is so convenient for everything

We had a fantastic stay at the Fairmont Rio de Janeiro Copacabana. Upon our early arrival, the front desk promptly accommodated us, allowing us to rest in a room. The staff was incredibly kind and welcoming throughout our visit. We loved the stunning views from the pool and the excellent dining options available. The rooms were clean, spacious, and quiet. We will definitely return for another stay.

Lovely hotel and pleasant stay, only spoiled at the end by poor customer service at check out. I had prepaid the hotel stay and had an additional 1583 BRL to pay for food and drinks. 5000 BRL was paid onto my credit card at check in. I was told I would have the balance refunded the same day and the invoice emailed to me - this did not happen - I phoned to ask why there was a delay and was told it would now take 3 days. A real shame that I had to chase up my refund - one expects a high level of service when staying at the Fairmont - sadly check out fell short of the expected standard.
