The best thing about the hotel is the location on that little spit of land that juts out into Ajaccio Bay. The common and outdoor spaces and the restaurant are all really luxe and up-to-date; the breakfast buffet is spectacular. Everything else is great, too. Helpful, gracious and friendly staff, attentive but not intrusive. The big thing that needs updating is the bathroom, specifically the shower. Some of the finishings in the rooms could also be updated/adjusted. But the net effect of the quality drop in the room is that it makes you want to spend more time outside enjoying all the things the hotel and the surrounding area have to offer, which are plentiful.
