This is a lovely property on beautiful grounds situated a short distance from the beginning of the night market & the big food market. The staff were extremely friendly & very helpful. Front desk was especially efficient; they booked train tickets for me and a short sunset cruise experience. Breakfast was good, despite sometimes odd presentation. The salt water oool was refreshing, clean, and quiet. I had a few nice chats @ breakfast with the new Operations Manager (Victor). It will be interesting to see what he able to do with the place. I had a ground floor garden wing room and it was okay. I would have preferred a more comfortable seating area inside the room (there was a lovely outdoor patio, but it was a bit too hot out for my taste to use it). The room was perfectly clean and serviced well, but furnishings seemed a little outdated.

Wonderful place to stay!! The service was impeccable and the breakfast amazing! Victor the manager went above and beyond to ensure our holiday was unforgettable. From recommending activities and restaurants to helping us prepare for the alms giving and even allowing us a late checkout so we could freshen up pre-travel. I highly recommend this property and will definitely return on my next visit to beautiful Luang Prabang.

We had an airbnb booked and last minute switched to this hotel based off of the good reviews. Great experience and worth the money. Everyone was very nice and helpful. Love that the rooms have balconies and they come to clean your room everyday and come for a turn down service if you want. Also 4 water bottles everyday were left. I would highly recommend using the free bikes. Makes the walk into town so much shorter. The breakfast Thai omelette was delicious.

We loved our time at Souvannahpoum. The room was beautiful and had everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable and we enjoyed the large balcony and the swimming pool. The turndown service was a much appreciated bonus. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were also tasteful and plentiful. Highly recommend this hotel.

I stayed with my family, and the staff provided excellent service. The room was comfortable, and the breakfast had a wide variety of options. Particularly, the waitress named Khun Mint was very helpful, and I would like to thank Khun Victor for the warm welcome. If I have a chance to visit Luang Prabang again, I will definitely stay there.
