Excellent, as usual. Our ‘go to’ hotel in Calais. Consistently good standards, helpful staff, great value, excellent breakfast. Secure parking at a reasonable charge (book ahead). Centrally located but only 10 minutes walk to the excellent beach and extensive children’s play area.Going back in three weeks.

Sleeping in the sewers!

It looked promising but it was a nightmare ! The room was quite smelly when we entered it, but this was nothing compared with the awful smell of drains in the bathroom which made us feel so sick that we couldn’t use the shower. The staff dismissed us by saying there were no other rooms available . We were promised a discount or a free stay for our next visit, but we didn’t receive any compensation and we are still waiting for apologies. This is the worst Accor hotel we have ever stayed in.

There are no good hotels in Calais. This one is a good location and has friendly staff. There is a very small car park and parking is difficult. There is also no electric charge points. There is also no grass area to walk a dog. They do free breakfast which is good. Rooms are very tired with many of them being in an annexe off the car park.

The 3-star classification does not require having a recharge point in fact but we apologize. However, we take your comments into consideration with the aim of constantly improving ourselves! Nice hotel, friendly staff, good location close to bars and restaurants. Room was spacious, well equipped and quiet. Bathroom was good and well fitted. Breakfast was included and it was basic but very acceptable. Parking was easy to get to with direct access through a rear door to the hotel reception area. We had a very good glass of wine in the hotel bar area which offered comfortable seating. Great location for the Calais to Dover ferry only 10 mins to the terminal. Would definitely stay here again.
