Outdated with little care in upkeep. A disappointing Accor property which was three star at most. Rooms tired and no hot water, gardens overgrown and facilities in various states of repair. No hot water for 2 days of our stay. Breakfast ok but nothing special, staff friendly but not very helpful..

Rooms are in really poor condition, not cleaned properly before check in and could not get any hot water for a shower on either of the 2-days we stayed.

Actually Mercure Sanur deserve 5 stars for price value. Unfortunately I only give 4 stars overall due of lack staff and difficult for us to ordering food in swimming pool after 6.00 PM. Please don't cut any trees, we really loves the greenery surrounding our rooms. If the hotels can add palm trees close to the beach will be appreciate.

We had a deal with 3 dinners and daily cocktails, plus accommodation. Room was dated (like reviews have said) but spotlessly clean and enough space. No mould, no smells. Comfy bed with nice linen. Water temp of shower takes a while to warm up. Air con worked a treat, nice table and chairs inside and another set out on the terrace. Enjoyed the garden view from the terrace. Yes, I imaging there are prettier rooms out there, but for me all I need is that they are clean and air con works. All the staff were super lovely, helpful and worked hard to sort any issues. Breakfast was great! Again, may not look the prettiest but all tasty (especially the crepes/waffles/hot food/noodles and fried rice). Eggs cooked to order and my poached eggs were super tasty. Fruit fresh. Very little plastic waste as all condiments were in glass or ceramic bowls. Coffee was not great, but Genius café is literally 10 steps away for great coffee (best in Sanur I think!) Dinner was tasty, but not much choice and 2 dishes sold out. We only did a la carte, not the buffets. Cocktails were limited to a specific few, not spectacular, but great little beach bar. Pools were a good temperature and clean. Not too crowded either. Could always get a sun lounge. Love the gardens around the the Sahadewa pool, just gorgeous! Both sun and shade options (towels a bit tatty). The location was amazing. I think the beach is the nicest in Sanur. Wide, lots of space, good sand for kids to dig in. Water clean and clear. Dogs friendly. Plus loads of great little restaurants near by on the pathway. Easy to get a taxi to the north of Sanur, but the walk on the road is mostly footpath and shaded so a good alternative to the beach walk.
