Wonderful hotel the view is amazing stuff very kind all time smiling specifically m.elsayed from reception Very kind, fast and helpful all time available for any request hedra and osama from bar also professional and House keeper wafaa wonderful hamada from restaurant and and shata in dinner,really the best hotel we visit in Egypt

We had the most incredible stay at the Old Cataract Hotel. I cannot recommend it more highly. The staff are truly impeccable. The hotel is as impressive as ever. From the moment we arrived it was like stepping back in time. The grounds are immaculate with beautiful water displays and plants and we appreciated the electric car ride, cold fresh juice and red carpet treatment on arrival! The service, food and setting are outstanding and our family had a vacation they will always remember. Kirolos was charming, friendly and helped us with all our needs. I really enjoyed Kirilos' tour of the hotel which is steeped in history. Huge thanks Kirolos and all the staff for making our stay so perfect. Also a shout out for a bar waiter we called ‘Little Boss’. He opened up a bar for us so we could watch a late night Euros match and restored the electricity after a black out! Thank you Little Boss. We enjoyed our evening with you. This hotel is worthy of the highest status - up there with the best in the world. Rooms; We arrived earlier than expected and our rooms were upgraded so we could check in straight away. This hotel used to be a palace and the rooms were palatial! Very glamorous and so much space! My children enjoyed the space! Food and Drinks; Breakfast in the 1902 room is one you will never forget. The friendly staff brought us a feast on tiered cake stands. I felt like I was in the Agatha Christie movie Death on the Nile! Drinks by the pool were delicious (recommend mango juice and Mocktails). We took lunch and dinner on the balcony restaurant and it was a feast of flavours. We kept returning as it was so good! Despite it being very hot they kept us comfortable with fans outside. We hope to return one day soon xx

Everything is great!!And Kirolos is very kind he did the check in for us very easy and quickly and it is A wonderful experience the place is so beautiful and the view is amazing and staff are very good and the place is clean and we like to come back!

An absolutely magnificent hotel! Put this on your list! The hotel and grounds are absolutely beautiful but it is only surpassed by the customer service which is exceptional. Miriam and Mr Hussain in the restaurants manage the restaurants and every detail is taken care of. We couldn’t have asked for better service. This hotel is like something out of a movie - well it actually is in scenes from Death on the Nile. We will certainly return.
