We stayed here on our journey home from Germany. It’s within easy distance of Calais and isn’t far from the autoroute. Our room was clean and comfortable. The hotel has an outdoor pool, but the weather wasn’t warm enough for us to consider using it. However, it was warm enough to sit out in the attractive grounds. We also sat out in the evening for a drink in the outdoor dining area, which is pleasant enough, but could do with a little attention to get rid of things such as the rusty edges to parasol bases. There is a huge shopping centre, including an Auchan supermarket just across the road from the hotel. This includes plenty of restaurants if you want something different from the hotel restaurant. We’d be happy to stay here again if we were travelling in that area.

Basic hotel, ok for a few nights

I looked for a hotel near Vimy Ridge that had free parking, free cancellation and A/C and was also reasonably priced. I chose this hotel. The main disappointment was the A/C. Barely worked and certainly didn’t cool our room down. We slept both nights with the large windows open. This hotel is contemporary style offering the basics. Plain Jane. There is lots of storage in the room, a small refrigerator and tea/coffee making station. The bed was comfortable. There is no elevator in this 2 story hotel. Plenty of gated parking, umbrellas available if it’s raining and all the staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful. Every time we returned to the hotel we ended up driving in circles. Not easy to get to from the A1. Other than the shopping mall across the road, it’s not very walkable from here. All that being said, and we both agreed, if I was to visit this area again I’d stay somewhere else.

If I review the best part of my stay is comfort in room and customized food to meet my dietary requirements. Ambience of the hotel and facilities at dining room are superb, size of dining room is really wonderful so no need to wait, and staff is so courteous as well as well trained. Further hotel is quite concerned about single use plastic bottles, that is really a good initiative to protect the environment. Over all stay 'excellent'

Perfect stop over

Needed a stop over on the way to Calais and tend to rely on the Accor group as we need to park our camper with trailer. Pool nice - restaurant good but need to book. Family room was fine for 1 night for the family if 4. Lovely shower and room was clean

A very good value stay

It’s a good value stay, although for us no more than 2 nights as the room for a family of 4 with all the beds in it becomes very cramped. However, not many hotels allow 4 people in a room so credit to this hotel for this option. There are lots of positives, namely, welcoming staff, comfortable beds, good bathroom, nice outdoor area and a swimming pool, free parking, strong wifi, walking distance to an excellent and huge shopping centre. Improvement points are, we were on the second floor and there is no elevator so we had to carry luggage upstairs although the receptionist kindly helped us. Also the pool area is very nice but we found the pool itself a little bit dirty, although they do clean it daily. Overall, a great place to stay on route to your final destination.
