Internal heel counter for additional support that helps keep the back of the foot locked-in place. Ergonomic EVA sockliner contoured specifically for a woman's foot molds to the foot, eliminating slippage & providing ideal underfoot comfort. EVA midsole provides excellent cushioning & a responsive feel. Anatomically placed, deep flex grooves offer proper flexibility in key areas. This my first UA shoe. I usually stick with Nike for running shoes. A coworker was telling me about a pair of well cushioned New Balance shoes but they did not look stylish. The HOVR was recommended by Amazon during my search. Initially, I tried the HOVR's with the sock attached but it felt uncomfortable. I returned them and purchased these. I am very happy with the quality, style and cushioning. Since wearing these, I don't have any knee trouble while running anymore, my entire foot feels well supported.

I’m 61 years old and bought these shoes to help me with foot extreme foot pain I get when walking with my husband on our morning or evening walks. I’ve got flat feet and get the most excruciating pain in my heel, ankle area as well as the top of my foot causing me to limp. I needed a shoe that has more than normal padding to cushion my foot when walking. These shoes have done the trick and in the past couple weeks I’ve been walking in them I’ve had no pain whatsoever.

These shoes are so comfortable -- they feel like a hug. I can't imagine a running shoe fitting better. I normally take a 9 or 9.5. I ordered these in a 9.5 and they were 1/4" too long. The 9's are perfect. I'm finding that in the higher-end Under Armour shoes I need a 9, in the less expensive U.A. shoes I need a 9.5. No complaints! Bought them in mod-gray too for winter with jeans or when I'm going to be out in nature and don't want to worry about getting them dirty.

I wear a true 8.5. Had to go to the 9 in this UA model. I wear 8.5 in other UA models. The gray on the toes are two different shades. A bit disappointed because I like the comfort. They have cushion all over but if you need more cushion the front of your foot or arch check out the Escape 3’s.
