Updates from the field! Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning is a key component of all programs at Dubai Cares. This is why our colleague Barbara Bedike visited #India to monitor our Skill Impact Bond program launched in partnership with The British Asian Trust. Barbara visited two employers in #Chennai where trainees are employed and interacted with representatives from HR departments and employees who have benefitted from this #vocational training program. Barbara also visited other training centres in #Ranchi, #Jharkhand, and its neighbouring villages and interacted with the students to gain an overview of the entire process from mobilization and training to placement and retention. So far, this program has trained 30,000 youth across 13 sectors in 14 states throughout India, with 70% of the participants being women. مستجدات من الميدان! تعد عمليات الرصد والتقييم والتعلم عنصراً أساسياً في جميع برامج دبي العطاء. ولهذا السبب قامت زميلتنا بربرا بدايك بزيارة للهند بهدف رصد التقدم المحرز لبرنامج "سندات أثر المهارات" الذي أطلق بالشراكة مع الصندوق البريطاني الآسيوي. زارت باربرا اثنين من أصحاب العمل في #تشيناي، حيث يتم توظيف المتدربين وتحاورت مع ممثلي أقسام الموارد البشرية والموظفين الذين استفادوا من برنامج التدريب المهني. كما زارت باربرا أيضاً مراكز التدريب الأخرى في #رانشي، و#جهارخاند، والقرى المجاورة لها وتحدثت مع الطلاب للحصول على فكرة عامة حول العملية على نطاق أوسع، وذلك بدءاً من المشاركة والتدريب، حتى التوظيف والاحتفاظ بهم. حتى الآن، تم تدريب 30 ألف شاب، 70% منهم من النساء، عبر 13 قطاعاً في 14 ولاية في جميع أنحاء الهند من خلال هذا البرنامج.
