GLOBAL WEEK TO

#act4

sdgs

Every September, the UN SDG Action Campaign and key partners mobilize millions of people around the world to take action on the SDGs. We are all called upon to unite to #ACT4SDGs and accelerate sustainable impact across the world, with a goal of 1 billion actions by 2030. The 2023 mobilization accumulated 156 million actions – the largest Global Week yet!

The Time is Now

Unite to Act!

The SDG story is what everyone wants – more peaceful, just, and sustainable societies.

The 2023 Global Week to #Act4SDGs mobilization took place from 15 to 25 September as world leaders gather at the United Nations General Assembly for the UN SDG Summit. To mark the mid-way point of achieving the SDG Agenda, the Week focused on Climate, Peace and Justice, Sustainable Food Systems, Gender Equality, and Inclusion.

But as we spotlight themes that resonate in our challenging times, we are also asking millions of people around the world to come together and tell us: what do YOU unite for? The Global Week will inspire and mobilize communities and individuals across the globe to join in solidarity, communicate their unity for the SDGs, and #ACT4SDGs.

All SDG actions are captured and visualized in the Global Map of SDG Actions which can be filtered down by country, region, organization, SDG, and sector, allowing us to report back at key UN milestone moments to show how collective action can lead to great change around the world.
