Rising Star Award

This award recognizes up to 10 outstanding individuals approaching mid-level careers who have demonstrated outstanding promise for contributions to their respective fields.

Award Application

Priscilla Carney Jones Scholarship

This scholarship is for female undergraduate majors in chemistry or related disciplines who are beginning their junior or senior years of study.

Merck Research Award

This award recognizes eight individuals who will present their research at an awards symposium held during the Fall ACS national meeting.

Overcoming Challenges Award

This award recognizes an undergraduate for her efforts in overcoming hardship to achieve success in chemistry.

Eli Lilly Travel Award​

The ACS Women Chemists Committee (WCC) and Eli Lilly and Company sponsor a program to provide funding for undergraduate, graduate, and postdoctoral female chemists to travel to meetings to present the results of their research. Through this program, WCC and Eli Lilly and Company continue to increase the participation of women in the chemical sciences.

Pfizer Emergent Leader Award

The WCC Pfizer Emergent Leader Award recognizes up to eight outstanding individuals in the second year and above of their graduate studies or undertaking post-doctoral research. The applicants must perform research in the areas of organic chemistry, synthetic methodology, total synthesis, medicinal chemistry, computational chemistry and chemical biology.

ChemLuminary Award

This award recognizes volunteer participants in ACS Local Sections and Divisions whose efforts have helped to achieve excellence.

ACS National Awards

We work with other committees to promote diversity and inclusiveness in awards administered by ACS.

ACS Fellows Nomination

The American Chemical Society (ACS) Fellows Program was created by the ACS Board of Directors in December 2008 to recognize members of ACS for outstanding achievements in and contributions to science, the profession and the Society.
